This is our get away for the night place. Always get the same room and always have a great stay.

We came from out of state for a couple days and had to make a last minute reservation. When we got there the staff was incredibly friendsly and welcoming. This was our first stay but when we come back through this would be one of our first and only picks as an option.10/10!!!!

Arrived late in the evening f after days event. Armchair in room had arm broken hanging off. Bed seemed to be clean upon turning down and uplifting top sheets and blankets. However upon waking up was lying in a bed full of bed bugs. I’ve NEVER experienced bed bugs in my entire life at any room I’ve ever slept in. GM would not come to any aid needed, only front desk girl (4th day on job) came immediately when front desk was called. She viewed and agreed there was a problem stating refund would be made. We called Hotels.com to report and got case number. We asked for refund which they never do, but did call front desk to state refund needed to be paid and got approval from fro t desk. We immediately left to find another hotel as our event lasted all weekend. We will never go back again. Complaint was filed with the Kansas Department of Agriculture Food and Lodging Safety. Currently in negotiations for repayment.

A few things not so good about this property: it seems like a deserted hotel, we arrived late and it was dark and barely lit on the interior; we found out when we left that our door didn't lock at all...the lobby breakfast seemed an after thought - we blew the power strip trying to make toast and waffles at the same time. It did seem that the staff was trying very hard to make things good, but the facilities are tired and worn out.

The staff I interacted with when checking in was decently friendly but had a thick accent and was on the difficult side to understand. Later I found that the locks on the room door were as if nothing was there. The shower had great water pressure. The bed was decent. We had friends there staying in other rooms and their rooms were much nicer than mine. However when the bed sheets were pulled back on their bed they find a large pair of red boxer briefs between the sheets. The toilet was low so shorter people will appreciate that.

We stayed here years ago and it was great but the rooms have become VERY run down. The staff and lobby were great but that is where the good stopped. The breakfast was all but non existent. Made me laugh to see they had paper plates set out to use but only offered cereal. Definitely not what it showed online! Very disappointing!

Beautiful inner courtyard. Obviously they used to have more meal service than now; one clerk said it was in the plan to expand the breakfast.
We enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra couple days. I hope they continue to improve the courtyard. The gym needs improvement, but it looked like there was new equipment, just not put in place yet. I think in the summer there is a pool available.

The door was held together by screws. The hidaved was broken the cable didn't work. Even after he tried to fix it. And the breakfast was cereal honey buns and toast.
