The staff at this property accommodates me very well every time I’ve stayed here, they’re quick to help you solve problems. I needed to check in early and they were able to find me a room earlier than expected. I love staying at this hotel !

The design of the room was very hip, and it was spacious. The shower was great. Everyone at the front desk was super helpful and accommodating. I didn’t have a chance to eat in the attached restaurant but it looked good. The location is convenient.

Great place to stay. Location cant be beat for walking around Union Sq area/ China town etc. Irene was great.. she upgraded me and placed a nice half bottle of wine in the fridge for me. I left my phone charger there and it was located and they are sending it back.

Stayed for 2 nights for my bfs birthday. Upgraded our room for free! Room was very clean and spacious with decent view. However, when showering the water would drench the bathroom floor because there was nothing to keep the water in the shower. Had to use lots of towels but even that wasn’t helpful. Right next to union square, 12-13mins from the piers. Was walking distance to a lot of places to eat and bars, including John’s grill!

This is a nice hotel at a very convenient place. San Francisco is not the easiest place to find decent hotels at an affordable price. This hotel gets the job done and we had a nice stay. It was clean and our room was very spacious, which was a nice bonus. We liked the fact that we were close to public transportation and we felt safe walking around.

Clean place in the busy downtown area. Conveniently located close to the important tourist attractions.
Downtown area is generally a bit dirty and suffers from crimes. Some noise in the area from protests outside in the street. The staff were nice about it and gave us a room that wasn’t facing the noise. They also gave is a complementary bottle of wine.

Not the fault of the hotel but the union strike down the street was noisy and disruptive. The concierge put me in a better room to be furthest from the noise.

We stayed at hotel G for 3 nights and had an excellent time. Like any big city the downtown area has its challenges with homelessness - San Francisco is not different but at no time did we ever feel unsafe. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would consider staying again.

Windows and walls are thin- you can hear cars honking and sometimes people talking in the room next door

Weekend trip to SFO. Hotel G is a solid choice. BUT...be warned that at the next door Westin, the service union is picketing and banging metal drums from 7 am to 10 p. EVERY day. The Hotel G cant control that. Something to consider.
