Our stay at "La Quinta Inn" was very good. The hotel has an incredible location just a few steps from Central Park. The staff in general are very attentive and ready to support you. Special recognition for Myriam who is in the breakfast area, incredible staff. The rooms are small but it is enough to rest in a cost-benefit ratio.

La habitacion asignada se filtraba el frío por todas las ventilas ,fue imposible dormir la primer noche,llegamos en la madrugada y deseábamos descansar y fue un caos,existía el mismo frío adentro de la habitación que afuera , tuvimos que dormir con abrigos puestos , las alfombras muy sucias .

I would never advise anyone stay here. A stay in the homeless shelter would be a better option
The facility was run down and poorly maintained. More importantly, it is a clear safety hazard. I am surprised more crimes (thefts, assaults) are not reported by guests.
A fire alarm went off during my stay. The guests of this establishment discovered that the duty staff had absconded. There was no one to call the fire station or police. There was no central line or emergency facility that could be called. At 4 am in the morning, guests had to place the calls to ensure that the appropriate services wedre deployed. The front door of the building was left open (no need for key access), so the NYPD team detailed to the fire had to stay at the front desk to ensure safety.

Location good and staff friendly but room and bathroom much smaller and older than it appeared in pictures online. Products were very basic. Heating was noisy. Breakfast room had TV news on loud so couldn’t have coffee in peace in the morning. Would not stay there again.

What a hidden gem! All the staff here are super friendly, from the housekeepers to the front desk. Yasmin working the night shift at reception was an absolute delight. She warmly greeted me when I walked in and even knew my name before I said it.
The room was clean, cozy, and the heating worked great...a must for this chilly January weather. Although this property is marketed as a "no-frills" hotel, the room was relatively spacious (by NYC standards), there was a nice selection of toiletries (in eco-friendly, refillable pumps), and the gleaming white towels were displayed in fancy shapes. The bed was comfy, and the cable worked well. The hot water in the bathroom took a couple minutes to heat up, but when it did, it was perfect and had excellent pressure.
The hotel is just steps away from the subway, and the Upper West Side neighborhood can't be beat. I have business in the area from time to time, and I plan to definitely return. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The room was nice but the room service was terrible! The tv did not work or the desk phone next to the bed did not work. I reported to the front desk. No ever showed up.
