I spent 11 days at Hotel Christina in Tigotan. My understanding was that I had booked a sea view room; however, the view was of a port across a busy and noisy dual carriageway. The noise was excessive, and the view was poor, so I did not spend any time on the balcony. My husband and I asked on three separate occasions if we could move to a room on the other side of the hotel. Each time, we were told we would have to pay an extra €25 per night. Since we were already well into our stay, it did not make financial sense to pay this additional fee on top of the £2025 we had already paid for what we believed was a proper sea view. The room type we requested remained unoccupied for the entire duration of our stay. This inflexibility demonstrates a missed opportunity to ensure good customer satisfaction. That said, I must emphasize that all the staff were very pleasant and professional, and I otherwise had a great time at the hotel.

Great location right on the beach, attentive staff, nice pool area and a pool big enough to actually swim/exercise, great views from the room balconies! I didn’t try and of the food options at the hotel but earlier experience at the samd hotel is that the breakfast is good, except proper bread.

Dificultad para aparcar en la zona.

El hotel está bien situado, las vistas de la cafetería y desayuno son geniales. El personal es muy amable, en especial Jose de la entrada. La piscina está bien, tiene temperatura controlada. Lo peor sin duda son las habitaciones: algo anticuadas y se escucha absolutamente todo; el baño separado no me gustó nada tampoco.

This is a perfect place to stay if you want to visit Las Palmas especially because it is right on the Las Canteras Beach.

The surprise event on Saturday was amazing and made for an unforgettable last day to our holiday! Loved every minute.

Disappointed for the quality of the food at dinner. I was expecting something more and better. Very good the breakfast. Complete and good value. Personnel kind and cooperative. Room very nice with the sea view but air conditioning even shot down was noisy. Needs improvement.

This a really nice hotel, really well located for local restaurants and shops. The pool area was great and right on the beach if you prefer. The breakfast had a lot of choice and all the staff were lovely. I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Hotel was right on the beach with shops, restaurants and bathing just meters away. Comfort and service were the best. Pool could have been open later than 6 in the evening. Breakfast meal was good with a lot of variations but we had a few minutes of queing and it was a bit noisy. We can recommend hotel Cristina.

Es war sehr sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schade das man keine Zeit gefunden hat um das Zimmer zu reinigen.

Superiorrum bra att dela med väninna men vi hade haft svårt att bekvämt få plats med allt i standardrum (inget förvaringsutrymme förutom i garderob; i superior fick vi var sin). Badkar i alla superiorrum (och i standard, tror jag) men det hade lågt insteg och handtag. Behövde be om badrockar och tofflor; ansiktsservetter och duschmössa fylldes inte på när använt. God frukost och middag. Fin utsikt när rum mot vattnet. Rök och prat från andra balkonger störde på ett sätt som jag inte väntat när såg layouten. (Likaså rök från poolbaren när rum på första våningen; försvann när vi fick flytta till tredje.) Gatan på baksidan såg sjabbig ut (”sex shop” enligt anslag mm) och vi undvek på kvällar. Inga problem på gatan snett framför eller strandpromenaden (eller baksidan på dagtid). Hotellet hade garage men jag skulle bott någon annanstans om avsåg göra utfärder med egen bil (stark, långsam trafik). Nära lokalbussar och Santa Catalina busstation samt taxistolpe vid hotellet = lätt göra utfärder på egen hand utan bil. Vi upplevde hotellet som bra fyrstjärnigt och skulle överväga vid framtida Las Palmas-besök.

Hyvä hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla. Aamupala erinomainen, vaihtelua joka aamu. Uima-altaan vesi mukavan lämmin,27 C. Altaalla olisi saanut olla enemmän aurinkotuoleja. Allasalue oli varjossa aamupäivän. Siivous oli pettymys. Siivoojat kyllä tervehtivät iloisesti, mutta siivosivat huoneen huonosti.

Exelente todo salvo 2 cosas: El blackout no es bueno. A las 7 am se iluminaba la habitación. Mi habitación eta triple, la parte del sofa cama de la tercera persona no tenía wifi
