It was a good hotel, great location. The grandkids loved the pool. The hotel is clean, but the hotel was under construction. The parking lot needs to be paved and stairs repaired from parking lot A to B.

Overall, found the site needing / or conducting renovations. Badly needed for this aged facility. Definitely not worth the $$$$. The restaurant had a good menu and friendly staff. As was the front desk.

Hotel was lovely on the first floor. Restaurant was great as well. Rooms were clean but hotel is quite old. Needs to be updated. Staff was quite lovely.

We stayed one night and enjoyed the pool. The staff were friendly and we had a lovely view of Sydney harbour. Only complaints are the air circulation in the room. The bathroom smelled funny as the moisture was not ventilated out of the room and it was difficult to sleep due to feeling sticky in the room. The hot tub as well, only one jet worked but other than that, served our needs for the one night.

Coffee machine didn’t work

We had a harbor view and were upgraded to a king suite. I loved the extra space. Helpful front desk. In a good area for the boardwalk and restaurants. We enjoyed the stay.

Arrived on a rainy afternoon and spent the rest of the day in the hotel. Please to have access to TCM and enjoyed two old movies. Evening meal and breakfast taken in the bar/bistro and both were nothing wonderful, but good travelling fare to meet our needs. All the staff we came into contact with were pleasant and helpful, particularly at breakfast.

The rooms were great. We had a newly renovated room. It was lovely. The restaurants were both terrific. The food was awesome.

We were upgraded to a junior suite and the “new” renovations were done very poorly.

Our room had a great view of the water. The parking was okay but a little steep on the bottom. The staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast was simple and delicious.

Great staff and hotel our first vacation to Sydney was such a success and largely because of the great staff and room at this hotel. We will Be back!

Rooms were okay. Clean but bed was very squeaky. Undergoing Reno’s so halls and elevator was very grungy. Restaurant was very nice

Under renos common areas were dirty but room was clean! Some amenities were closed due to renovation. Room was ok…. Large room could have used a better arm chair..

Property is being renovated, and they're doing it not floor by floor but scattered so no floor was with out noise or work going on. That being said the renovations are good. The location was really good close to restaurants and sights to see. Staff was more that willing to help and guid you.

Under renovations. Too many barking dogs on site for us.Breakfast was buffet & was ok.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. It does not help the atmosphere but they only start around 8 am so it did not bother us much. At first we were put in an old room that had not been renovated yet. This room really did not meet the standards for the amount of money they ask for it. Wallpaper letting go of the walls, airconditioning that would not turn off, dirty carpets. After we requested a room change we spend a second night in a renovated room that was great. (Our sleep not so much since unfortunately the smoke detector in the room next door was activated at 01:30 am but can't blame the hotel for this). The staff at reception and during breakfast was also hit or miss. The people who helped us with the room change were great. But the employee who checked us in did not even bother to explain where or when breakfast was nor did he tell us that it was paid parking. And one of the ladies during breakfast was not particularly motivated. All in all not the greatest stay. Hope once the renovations are completed all staff members are motivated to do a better job as well!

Service staff in the kitchen are wonderful. The room view was excellent. Now the not so nice. Customer service manager Chau, is unprofessional and overtly arrogant. Snearing while chewing his gum he openly muttered how staff were going to hear from him about doing their job. Prepaid meals not readily available. The entire hotel was under renovations, not just the fitness facility. This caused noise and elevator disturbances on a consistent basis. Noise in the hallways, slamming doors and arguments were not dealt with informally and timely by management.

Bed was great, room was clean and convenient for everything. Was irritated at being charged for parking. That was a surprise given free parking on the street on weekends.

Hotel undergoing renovations which we were not made aware of at booking so no laundry facilities or leisure facilities. Work ongoing during the day which was noticed. Hotel indeed tired and room showing signs of age although views were good over the marina etc. one bottle of water and two coffee cartridges in room which when two in the room seemed a bit mean but managed to catch one of the staff who happily gave me more coffee. Breakfast was included which was perfectly adequate with lovely staff on hand if anything required. Parking an additional charge at $7 which seemed reasonable but would have thought that could have been waived due to renovations and lack of facilities available. Location met our needs but if we had been made aware of renovations we would not have booked.
