Hotel was dirty and noisy due to renovations. Please include this information on your booking site

Carpet was dirty, bathroom needs update specially the shower. Nobody mentioned about paid parking until check out. Would be nice to

Tired hotel - in need of a good refurb. Check in staff were pleasant and helpful. Outside my door was a pile of dirty plates and glassware - I thought I’d been sent to the wrong room. Bed very soft / but clean sheets and a spotless bathroom - hot shower and clean towels. The area surfing big the hotel it a big dubious. Over

The pool side area was really poor with no towels or staff around requested to bring towels on reception then took 40-45 minutes to get the towels to use in pool with the kids. Breakfast was a surprise to have order only one specific meal per person and was not a buffet service was really disappointing. Bathroom has no toothbrushes or toothpaste. Like small things and paid $400 for one night for 1 bedroom that’s honestly a lot and i’d never been recommended to anyone else even will tell all of my friends not to go there.

The location is great, but the hotel is in dire need of renovation

Breakfast and dinner options were very good. Staff were nice. Building was under renovations which was needed as the rooms/hallways needed a refresh. Location was good to wharf and restaurants. Beds were comfy.

We loved the view over the harbour.

Room was very outdated, noise with renovation immediately above us was loud, we knew about it, but was surprised the room rate was still where it was considering the condition and noise. Was in meetings all day so had the DND on the door, when asked for extra towels and cups, etc. for coffee, it was sloppily done (didn’t take away used towels, didn’t include coffee lids, etc), the second night they didn’t even go into the room (DND sign was removed) and left the extra towels, etc in a garbage bag in front of the door for us to find when we returned from dinner. Not very welcoming, nor accommodating.

Renovations being done without much inconvenience to the customers

Parking lot is in poor condition. Water power stopped around 830 am. Must have been due to rennovations.

Clean room, had a nice view of the waterfront and could see the worlds biggest fiddle from the our room

All good- staff, room had a great view, dining room/ lounge food was good except the coffee - not hot and tastes bad.

Beautiful area

The other two Holiday Inn properties we stayed in on this trip offered free breakfast. We didn’t qualify apparently. The property is under renovation. At no point during the booking process was this disclosed. The A/C was exceedingly loud, the taps dripped, there were huge stains in the bathtub. We were still charged full price. Snack area was a huge rip off. $4 for a chocolate bar? They were $2 at the other properties. Access stairs to the lower parking lot were blocked off. Would not stay here again

Fantastic breakfast, great location near many things to do downtown

Room and hotel were ok, unfortunately booking though Expedia does not warn that the hot tub was not working and that you need to book a specific package for the ‘free’ breakfast. This was disappointing as the breakfast and hot tub were two of the reasons we chose this hotel with our kids for vacation.

Air conditioner unit makes a lot of noise and does not work very good Kept me awake most of the night until I shut it off

Very clean quiet with a great view! Just a short walk to great pub with music!
