This was a good spot to explore the area from. Only a short drive to a few spots nearby and the onsite restaurant was good. Nice carvery. The staff were excellent. Our only issues were a toilet that didn't flush properly and a shower that had a wonky temperature regulator. They called the plumber for us but we were only there for one night so it couldn't be fixed until the next day. Good value for the money.

Quick overnight stay for leisure with family. Nice late check in. Staff were lovely. Just a late sleepover but was a lovely clean hotel where I felt safe.

We needed a place to stay along a long drive, and found a room at Spread Eagle. The staff were friendly, beds were comfy and food was easily available at the carvery and restaurant. Breakfast was reasonably priced and nice. Great value.

Room is ok and bed comfortable for a frw days stay locally visiting family in Penkridge. Only one issue was cleanliness of the room. Dusty surfaces in bedroom and around bathroom suggest it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly beforehand. Improve this and it wouldn’t be too bad for a short stay.

Excellent stay rooms really clean & tidy shower powerfull and hot breakfast was lovely lots of choice would stay here again

One large bath towel for two people two tea bags on tray wet room you paddled in water by sink and toilet reception not the best could be a bit more polite

Comfortable overnight stay on way down south after an early morning start. Nice dinner and breakfast. Room was comfy and clean, though we needed the signs to help us find it.

A standard type of corporate accommodation, a little lacking in drawer space ie none. Reasonable pub food available next door. Clean and modern suited or purpose. Functional. Good choice of breakfast paid for next door if needed.

Exactly what you would expect from Marston inns, cleanliness was excellent, had everything you need for a one night stop. Meals booked and staff friendly and efficient
