After communicating with the hotel 3 times in the week prior we were not told the pool would be closed for a private event. Not even told at check in. So a facility that is advertised for the hotel was unavailable. The room had literally no hot water, not a drip out of the tap. We were moved to a different room. In the new room the kettle lid was broken so we had to slowly fill through the spout. Only one lift working. So queuing for lift each time was annoying. We have to say the reception staff were very friendly at check in & got us moved quickly. Cleaning staff obviously didn't notify maintenance about the water.
