Conveniently located. Short walking distance to Southbank eateries, the lagoon for swimming, QPAC, and ferries.

We arrived late after being at the Brisbane International tennis. Check in was difficult and not friendly. Had to drive around the block once to park our car outside. Couldnt contact hotel quickly. I had my elderly mum with me who needs a walker to walk. I wanted this to be a nice experience for her as she is from the country. When we finally got to our room. A large part of the tv cabinet was lyingon the floor. There was no jug in the room for me to make a cup of tea for my elderly after a busy day. Had to ring reception. An hour later as I was unpacking my bag. I found rubbish lying under the outer part of under the bed. A childs hairband, plastic wrapper, 1.5 ltr coke bottle, glow stick and an unused cigarette. I had to contact reception again! After that we were worried about the cleanlinessof thhe room. We wanted to change room but unfortunately they were fully booked. We received a free breakfast but unfortunately my food was very dry had to ask for balsamic vinegar to enhance the flavour. We travel a lot and stay in nice places. Really disappointedwith this stay especiallywhen I had my mum with me. Great location though, easy access to beautiful Southbank and lovely restaurants. Reception staff on the Saturday morning were more friendly. Regards Rhonda

Great location, lovely helpful staff, great valet parking, nice tea selection in room, but no little biscuits, gee even the hotel/motels in the outback give you a biscuit, bed quite hard, glad only stayed one night, no pen & note pad either, sign of the times I guess Can hear traffic we were on second floor Nice quiet AC which was nice Would stay again for weekend

Hôtel très bien situé dans le quartier, très vivant, de South Bank qui permet également de rejoindre à pied le centre ville de Brisbane et de prendre les ferries sur la rivière. Station de South Brisbane à proximité de l'hôtel en venant de l'aéroport. Chambre familiale équipée d'une kitchenette si besoin et d'une petite terrasse.

This was a last minute booking for us for our final night in Brisbane after a 2 week holiday on the gold coast. Considering we checked in on New Years Day, and the awesome South Bank location, the price we paid was amazing. Granted, the room we chose was basic, not fancy, it had everything we needed, and had a lovely big shower. Also, considering the room was on the side of the building that was right next to the railway, which initially worried us, we didn't hear a thing. It was super quiet. The staff were so friendly and nice. We were able to store our luggage after checkout (late flight out), which allowed us to enjoy the last few hours of our holiday without having to drag our cases around with us. The included breakfast was absolutely marvellous. Normally, included breakfast's are of the continental style, but at the Mantra we were surprised to receive a fully cooked meal from their breakfast menu, which included a side choice and a beverage at no extra charge. I will be choosing The Mantra on south bank again in the future.

Went to a musical at QPAC and the hotel was the perfect spot to walk to dinner, shopping, the show or just relax.

Everything was great except we couldn't get hot water in both the bathrooms.

Great spot, amazing views, comfortable bed and great amenities. We will be certainly staying again at Mantra South Bank!

Great location. Surrounded by eating establishments. Friendly helpful staff. Easy walking to central Brisbane, the Star casino and the cultural centre of Brisbane.

My wife and I paid $304 a night for no daily service. If we wanted things like teabags or clean towels we had to go to Reception and ask for them. The room was old and dated. It needed a good clean and dusting and vacuuming. The bed was not made very well. It was 2 large singles put together with queen size sheets when they should have been king size. They just didn't fit correctly.

The staff and room were wonderful. The aircon system wasn’t great though, so we had to ask for a fan (which the staff were super quick with getting and helping out!)

Hotel is ok well located Very dated in appointments and cleanliness so-so. The pool doesn’t look as sparkling IRL. I had to call for bathmat and handtowel which weren’t in the room on arrival but they were brought promptly.

Great location to south bank

Reasonable value for money by today’s standards. Room was clean modern and spacious. I would suggest having another lamp for the room, and a full length mirror, and maybe more than just two towels.
