Crowne Plaza London- Gatwick Airport, an IHG Hotel

No proper management In issuing of bill. Making mistakes and duplicates invoice charge. This is inconvenient to do back and forth and cost time consuming.

The room was so cold, the air con was flashing with ‘filter needs cleaning’ on screen, could not sleep because of the cold- even got up and had a bath to try and warm up but just couldn’t get warm. Reception said they would speak to manager but we have heard nothing

Lovely stay here and so reasonable. We were in a very large room, nearly too big. It was in an unusual part of the hotel, but we didn't mind. Would absolutely recommend this hotel. The only drawback is the choice on draft in the bar, they just weren't to our taste

Stayed for flight in Gatwick. Great location to park, stay and take a bus in to the airport. Other than that everything is average to bad. Room looks newly renovated, but the ac heating isn’t good enough as the windows are not well insulated and room stays cold. The doors are small and old, which does not isolate sound at all. Consistent noise throughout the night and you can hear it quite well. Shower pressure is weak. Breakfast is fine but the seating and service is bad. Also, placed the do not disturb door sign, but the attendant still tried to come in and ask if we want housekeeping.

Ideal night stay prior to our flight

Really excellent service and very clean rooms.

Hotel reception, bar and breakfast areas were good and the breakfast options were great. However the staff were not as attentive at Breakfast as expected in such a high standard hotel. The coffee machine was always being emptied of products and always running out of cups to use and it was difficult to access the additional items on the menu. The bar and restaurant food was very good and we enjoyed a lovely evening in the bar with family for drinks. The rooms were small but adequate, but could do with a little TLC regarding painting, renew the showers with a better performing shower. Cleaning staff of the room was excellent and ensured the room was cleaned regularly. The beds was very comfortable with great pillows and I enjoyed a good night sleep.

Apart from the awkward size & exit of the lift to the accessible room everything else suited the purpose of the stay.

Great place to stay pre holiday flights

Clean but tired. Food was excellent but waiting staff removed my plate while my husband was still eating!! A small thing but…!

No hair dryer in the room

Unser Kurzurlaub von Donnerstag bis Sonntag nach London lies uns im Crowne Plaza in Crawley am Flughafen Gatwick ankommen. Das Hotel ist sehr hübsch und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter ist sehr angenehm. Die Größe des Zimmers ist normal für englische Verhältnisse. Leider war es uns nicht möglich die Heizung abzudrehen und daher hatte das Zimmer gefühlte 25°C über Nacht, was für mich unangenehm war, da das Zimmer kein Fenster zum öffnen hatte. Dafür war das Frühstück ein richtiger Ausgleich. Eine großzügige Auswahl von kalten und warmen Speisen, haben uns das Frühstück mit unseren Freunden genießen lassen. Der Frühstücksraum hatte verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten (von gemütlich bis zu Business, kleine und größere Tische, 2 tolle frischbrühende Kaffeemaschinen, Obst und vieles mehr. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt genossen.

Really nice hotel. Excellent staff. We arrived early and they stored our luggage and we had a nice, reasonably priced, meal in the bar area. We missed this on the site, but they do have a shuttle service from the airport for just 5 pound each (we ended up paying 29 pounds for a taxi) Overall a great place to stay after a long flight.

One night stay just to catch early flight out of Gatwick. - Very convenient since it is the last stop on the airport shuttle bus (about 20 min ride). We could not have breakfast but the dinner menu was great..

Great hotel and great location for the airport. Great service and all good but ….. one thing ….. no plug sockets at the head of the bed. I use a CPAP machine which meant we had to trail cables across the room.

We were lucky enough to get upgraded to a club room. Very comfortable. Staff on checkin were very helpful.

Goed Hotel maar wel prijzig voor wat je krijgt. De accommodatie is best wel gedateerd.
