Great value for a huge room, plenty of comforts including Jacuzzi. Only let down was all pillows are soft, a mix would be better and shower pressure was really poor. Perfect parking arrangements.

Beautifully clean hotel and very polite staff. Breakfast awesome

The staff were very helpful, breakfast a treat. The stairs a bit of a challenge but added to the English quaint hotel feel.

Disappointed - pictures were not what the property was

We were awakened after midnight by the room occupant from Next door shouting and banging on the door. I went out to see if I could help him and he was abusive to me and my partner. No one was on duty and eventually I just pushed the door and gained entrance for him. I the morning at breakfast he was again abusive and threatened us. One of the breakfast team witnessed this too. There wasn’t anyone on reception when we left to discuss it with. Unfortunate for the Hotel and lovely staff there.

Everything was fine except the level of noise. Several of the rooms have hot tubs / jacuzzies and we were kept awake until midnight because one antisocial pair had it running and we could hear the motor loud and clear. The staff were unable to deal with it. It is not acceptable. They need to put a curfew on the use of those facilities: perhaps from 10:00pm through until 9:00am the following day. We were not the only guests affected: one couple had been kept awake until 4:00am by their neighbours playing with the hot tub. They need to do something about soundproofing as well as imposing a curfew. I think they should pay compensation for the disruption!

The receptionist on duty is very helpful and nice guy

This was our first time staying at G Boutique and we would definitely return there again. The rooms were clean and well maintained and we recommend doing the breakfast add on. We didnt use the bar in the evening but it's a nice touxh

Only stay here if you're desperate

Great location - close to the sea wall and Albert Road where there are many restaurants.

Great stay, just one small suggestion. The stairs going down to the dining area could do with a grab handle or rail on the left as you descend.

We had a lovely stay here, a great location.

Hotel was well positioned for the seafront but did not have a restaurant for lunch or evening meals so it was a bit of a hike to get food. Parking was good with space for 5 cars out front and street parking available too. Room was lovely and well kept with a jacuzzi corner bath and large walk in shower. Water pressure was poor..it took nearly 20 mins to fill the bath and the shower pressure wasn’t suitable for hair washing. Breakfast was provided and service was excellent. If I were to be fussy, I’d prefer not to look straight into a kitchen full of buckets and cleaning things whilst I eat, but it wasn’t the end of the world (it just ruined the illusion). Breakfast itself was well cooked and tasty…again if I were to be fussy, the poached eggs were over cooked (dry) and the toast was warm bread with no sign of changing colour. However that could happen at any hotel! All in all a pleasant stay, with friendly staff and great cleanliness

Large room, good breakfast and excellent location for our needs.

I let them know that I might be late checking in and they were very helpful about that possibility- in the end it wasn’t necessary. Room was lovely and uniquely decorated. Shower pressure absolutely awful sadly. Breakfast has a great selection but I’d prefer if it started at 0700 instead of 0730.

The staff were so helpful & accommodating, we were on the top floor, which was difficult for us as 4 flights of stairs, the lovely young lady on reception said she would check to see if she could change are room to ground floor, which made all the difference to our stay. Food was lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful! Delicious vegetarian breakfast (lots of options!) which was actually served to you fresh and hot rather than a buffet help yourself style and with the nice touch to opt for room service at no extra cost if you wanted. The room was very comfortable and the hotel was within a short scenic walk past a lake with swans and then along the seafront to town. Parking was also included (permit provided if there’s no space on the hotel grounds). We can’t fault it and will definitely stay here again!

On arrival Lady on reception was very helpful and even carried our luggage up to our room for us. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. Would certainly recommend.
