Hotel ristorante quattro gilgi

La struttura è molto bella e affascinante, ma gli anni si vedono purtroppo. La nostra lampada del bagno era fulminata…doveva essere stata controllata. Materassi molto comodi.

Had a great time! Stayed there for 4 nights. The staff was helpful and accommodating, the hotel is beautiful and calm and Tuscany is gorgeous. Highly recommended for a calm atmosphere and relaxation.

he property has not been equipped with overly modern amenities and would benefit from renovation while preserving its historic character. The bathroom has accessibility barriers. The price is too high for the level of comfort provided.

Beautiful hotel, with lovely traditional decoration. Very helpful staff and excellent and well priced restaurant with a lovely view over the Tuscan countryside. Highly recommend particularly for the price.

Piacevole sosta in questo albergo in centro paese. Arredato gradevolmente in stile toscano con una bella veduta sulla valle. Molto piacevole anche il ristorante con piatti gustosi, personale molto gentile ed una bella vista. Gentile anche il personale al check-in che ci ha consentito di poter fare la colazione molto presto. Le stanze sono comode con aria condizionata anche se con qualche rumore proveniente dalla strada principale. Una struttura gradevole che richiederebbe qualche intervento di manutenzione per renderla ancora più piacevole.

The views across the valley were truly stunning. The staff were amazing especially Julia. The breakfast outstanding and our evening meal on the terrace was so very memorable with local wine made less than a mile away. Sadly the lift was not working which made things challenging. The hotel is steeped in history dating back to the 14th century but the rooms are looking a little tired. Overall we had a wonderful time, our 1st stay in Italy.

I arrived late and left early, so very limited input. The staff waited for my arrival, were friendly, welcoming.

Das Hotel ist ein magischer Ort - wundervoll gelegen, verwunschen. Auf den ersten Blick, in der Lobby, ist alles super Instand gehalten, insgesamt wird diese historische Perle allerdings wenig gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind in teils miserablem Zustand, mit defekten Duschen, halb aus der Wand fallenden und nicht verwendbaren Steckdosen. Auch der Poolbereich ist nicht wirklich gepflegt. Schade, dass sich nicht mehr gekümmert wird, um den Charme des Gebäudes zu erhalten.

What a hidden treasure. If you want an under the Tuscan sun moment this is the place. Super quant hotel in the hills overlooking a beautiful valley. The hotel has old world charm with some modern conveniences. Our room was large with a private balcony. The bathroom was nice, but there’s not a lot of counter space. The room was equipped with A/C which worked well. There’s a shallow pool on the property. The water was waist high, so perfect to cool off or hang out in the water and get a little sun. Dinner is available on property and is served on the downstairs terrace. We had dinner as the sun was setting, it was spectacular! Breakfast was included and was well appointed. Hot eggs, cereals, yougart, pastries, and fruit. The staff will make coffee/tea to order and deliver it to your table…with a stunning morning view. Our stay was short, so we didn’t have a chance to explore the town, but I’m sure there’s some interesting things around. We will definitely book this place again.

Peaceful and accomodating.

We were looking forward to be in a location based in the nature to calm down and rest. Most of the pictures are taken of rooms facing the landscape unfortunately they also have some facing the street. Just in front of the hotel there is a gathering place of the locals and additionally it's kind of a main road, so we woke up many times during the night and the morning. Additionally they have some mold in the rooms and the bathroom. Such a pity!

The room was old world 1900s with a deep tub but it was to short for me but there was never ending hot water. The restaurant had an excellent octopus soup. The breakfadt could hsve been better if they kept it in warmers. The eggs were cold but the fruit and fresh juices were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. On Sunday’s the vendors bring out tables to expose their wares while the locals parade around in their sunday best It was quite delightful. I would definitely stay there again. Note: they dont accept AMEX

Un hotelito muy bonito en un edificio histórico en este pequeño pueblo de la Toscana. Personal muy agradable. La habitación que escogimos tenía una vista muy bonita. En general, todo limpio y bastante bien, solo que había algunos detalles a pulir que tienen que ver con el mantenimiento general del mobiliario, pero son pequeños detalles. La pasamos bien y disfrutamos movernos desde el hotel a las otras ciudades interesantes.

Mi hanno dato una stanza che entrando aveva un odore terribile, fatto presente a Giulia che prontamente ha provveduto a cambiarla. Mi è stata data una stanza più grande e comoda. Unica pecca la temperatura...18 gradi, un pò freddino... Buona la colazione

Ottima accoglienza e personale gentilissimo. Struttura bella e storica con bagno da ristrutturare. Ottima pulizia generale. Rapporto prezzo-qualità mediocre. Esperienza complessiva buona.

Excelente experiencia. El hote es prácticamente un palacete renovado. El servicio es impecable y el restaurante muy bueno. Montepoli es un pueblo encantador con gente amable y abierta. Altamente recomendable

Wunderschöner historischer Palazzo, das Restaurant ist sehr gut. Ein sehr gutes tiramsiu! Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und herzlich. Hauskeeping leicht verbesserungswürdig, Decke wurde abgezogen und nicht neu bezogen. Ansonsten ein traumhafter Aufenthalt in einer schönen toskanischen Unterkunft.
