The Nautilus Napier

FABULOUS location with a stunning view and a walk into the CBD. Loved the location and really enjoyed being across the road from the park and the sea.

We had a great overnight stay at the Nautilus with a very warm welcome. The room was amazing and the spa tub was huge.

It was the communication from the property. I booked it last minute and they couldn’t have been more helpful. We had to then add an extra person and again, they couldn’t be faulted with comms and assistance. Defo booking the Nautilus again. Thanks you so much.

Such a lovely welcome. Lady at reception was very friendly, accommodating, and gave us an upgrade for free, as I had booked the wrong room! Really well appointed, clean, great views straight out to Napier waterfront. Parking was straight outside. On-site restaurant had yummy food. Would definitely stay here again

Shower head was leaking badly, Mini bar had an open drink can in it which i had to pay for.

I didn't like the fact that I was charge $9.00 more than the quoted Expedia price. Also there was no space on the Expedia form to indicate that we wanted BOTH the King Bed and the Sofa Bed.

Nice and comfy

Liked having own private balcony over looking marine parade. Nice clean room with spa.

Unfortunately the stay was absolutely terrible. We spent a grueling day on the road travelling, fatigued to the limit and needed to desperately rest. However, unruly kids made an incredible noise from 11pm onwards to early morning hours. We tried calling reception 3 different times but kept getting put through to voicemail. I went outside at one point and hollered for some quiet to no avail though. After a night of very little sleep our complaints the next morning was received with nonchalance and a fleeting comment of how everyone complained. Which made sense in hindsight not answering any of our calls and letting it go to voicemail. We found the stay and the demeanor of the staff unprofessional and most dissapointing for a hotel with what's supposed to have a more luxury-end reputation. Unfortunately and ultimately a reward wasted for us.

Room was exactly as advertised and they offered to and then actioned with no trouble at all to have the sofa made up as a bed.

Good central location and great view of seafront. Nice balcony, although enjoyment was marred by the smokers that surrounded us. Bed was terrible- uncomfortable and the sheet was far too small- it kept rucking up to expose the worn, bobbly mattress beneath. There was no mattress protector. Towel rail was broken. Rooms need maintenance and beds need some new sheets! Friendly and welcoming check in, parking is tight. Nice big TV and strong shower.

Central and with a view Secure parking

Spacious studio with good sized bathroom and partial sea view. Clean and thoughtfully furnished, and reception staff very friendly. Fast internet speed and huge Smart TV for entertainment. Location is great as easy walk into the city, shops, restaurants, and opposite the ocean. My studio is absolutely perfect for single or a couple but not for children. My only negative is lack of wardrobe and storage space. Just a very narrow cupboard with an ironing board and iron in it. Apart from this, I thoroughly enjoyed my 7 night stay and would return again.

Great rooms, i highly reccomend staying there. Could fault anything.
