Hilton Garden Inn Flint Downtown

My room was huge. I love the art deco decor. Very nice to walk downstairs for dinner and brunch. Easy walk to the captial for my concert. Valet parking.

Non-existent parking. Expect guests to pay for either valet service, which is $20/day or the adjacent parking structure operated by the city of Flint which the attendant told us that some days they weren't going to be there and we'd be stuck without access to exit or enter the parking structure. Or walk 2 blocks from Saginaw Street side parking or the parking garage behind their grounds.

I feel like the property was really well kept and the room was very clean and suited our needs perfectly. The only drawback to the hotel is the parking. We were in town for my family Christmas get together, so we didnt have a lot of time to explore the hotel but everything seemed fine except for the parking. After arriving back from the get together, we waited almost 45 minutes to get the valet to park our car. This is totally unacceptable. when I asked why the valet was taking so long the employee responded that they had just got slammed with a lot of people coming back at the same time. This is totally not true. I counted two cars, mine and someone else's. There is no way that I should be waiting 45 minutes to have our car parked, especially in the winter. If you are from the area, you know how cold it can get in Flint and to be waiting that long for that period of time is just unacceptable in my opinion. In the winter months, that will definitely stop me from booking this hotel. I am unsure about the summertime because if the weather is pretty good, I might be more apt to enjoy the long walk from the parking area to the hotel but other than that I think I will be going somewhere else that has a better parking situation.

Ive always loved this hotel since they revamped the whole building its nice cozy and affordable staff is always nice its a bar & restaurant in the building as well surrounding areas all in walking distance. Only thing is yall know yall concession is extremely to high aint no way a regular or king sice candy bar should be $4-5$ & a 20oz pop $3.50 & up yea 0/10 dont recommend buying that stuff unless you have no choice.

The room was nice and comfortable the only issue I had was an edible and a top off of a soft drink was found on the floor near the bed which made me know that the room had not been cleaned properly. The other issue is my 2 bottles of water where never replaced after being there for a total of 4 nights there for no water to make coffee in room.

My room was very clean, and the decor was nice. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The drinks and food at the restaurant were delicious. I will definitely stay at the Hilton Garden every time I visit Flint.

Front desk staff were super nice. Bar and bartender Tyler were fantastic. Great experience!

I love the Valet parking

We always stay here (over 8 years, twice a year) & things seem to be improving. We want to give out a special shout out to our housekeeper that helped us 10/27 during 2-3pm. She turned around a bad experience to a good experience. She also did an amazing job cleaning our room. We really appreciate her & thank her for making our stay comfortable.

Probably the best hotel in the city of Flint. It’s downtown which is quite safe and walkable. Valet was decently priced but and there wasn’t other parking on site but there is street parking. The corner rooms are the best especially on the upper floors, but there are no chaise lounges or couch in any of the rooms. My only concern is that there was an odd smell (sulfur-like) in the elevator shaft that drifted a bit down the hall. The corner

I came to Flint to see Godspell. Great location to downtown restaurant and theater. Hotel is very new and clean. A little bit disgusted by the personal trash in the bathroom garbage can. Melea was very friendly at check in and offered recommendations for eating before theater.
