We went to St Augustine to see the Nights of Lights and chose this hotel for our stay. Other than some confusion of which Hampton Inn location our reservation was actually for (there are two fairly close together) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean, the main hotel is clean and maintained and the staff are very friendly and promptly fulfill any need.

The property was clean and modern. But to get to the center of town you have to walk up deserted and not properly lighted streets to get to the main street into town. I asked the front desk if there were any means of transportation to town and she said no, we must walk. The last day, when we were leaving, a bus marked as Complimentary Shuttle to Old Town or something like it entered the premises to leave guests. We were bewildered. Why the front desk did not tell us this??
