We were on our way to our destination and just needed a place to stay, so the stay was fine. The room was relatively clean. The location was good, right off of I-40. The facility and amenities need some upgrading. Overall, not bad for the price paid

Great stay. Front desk was very friendly and helpful.

As soon as we entered the property it immediately smelled of weed, we still took our room key and hoped it would get better. Once we got up to our room on the 2nd floor, the smell got worse, and roaches ran everywhere when we turned the light on. There was also dog food in the floor as if the room hadn't been cleaned.

Hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. Plenty of parking and complimentary breakfast was nice.

The lady who checked me out in the morning was super nice. They had dog biscuits for dogs. Everything was decorated for the Holidays and this was a delight. Even the luggage carriers had big red bows on them. There is every imaginable eating option possible in the area. I think anyone even a picky eater could find a place to eat. When I checked out I commented on the dog biscuits and the lady said "they are our guests as well" and that really struck me and made me even happier that I was staying there and at La Quinta Inns. I was traveling solo with two dogs from CA to NC and La Quinta Inns really met my needs during the journey.

I am not one to give a review on a property with such a negative reply however, my stay at this hotel last night with the worst hotel experience I have ever had with the La Quinta hotel. I was charged for my room credited back my room charge for my room again and then told that my card wasn’t accepted and had to pay with my credit card and almost didn’t have enough money to book my hotel room. That was the start of this wonderful evening. When I walked into my room, it reeked of mold and mildew, and there were parts of a chair broken on the carpet (which showed it wasn’t cleaned with a vacuum.) There were paint chips on the bed which got in my hair while laying in bed. the why won’t The shower head needed mildew cleaning because it sprayed out of maybe 6 six holes. The elevator ran up and down all night long. The people above me banged and banged and bang on the floor, and the list goes on and on the best part of the whole evening was hearing refrigerator popping every 15 to 20 minutes, which kept me awake all night so for the hundred dollars I spent on this room I got to sleep for 15 minutes. And leave with a nausea headache and sinus ills from the mold and mildew. I contacted the facility and have yet to hear a reply.. I was giving them a chance to correct this but apparently they do not care so I’m writing this review.

Room above 224 had squeaky bed as all night long the sound kept us from sleeping. Was making noise when people rolled over or changed positions, possibly. Was not constantly making noise. Hotel staff were excellent and hotel was in good shape and clean.

Not worth the money they charged. Front desk is depressing. Bed is not comfortable, restroom doesn't have a fan, It smells bad. Road noise in the room. Forget about the breakfast, no options to eat. I will never go to this place again. Hotels.com reviews are not reliable in this case.
