We absolutely LOVED our stay at New Orleans Guest House. It truly felt like we were at home. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the lovely Teisha! You could feel the joy exuding from her which made the experience amazing from the start. We were introduced to the staff and told about the surrounding area. I loved the rustic charm. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I will definitely be staying here every time I return! Thank you for such a great time in the big easy!

I love this place. Teisha and Yari ( i know im spelling this all wrong) were THE BEST!!! Everyone was so helpful. This place it the cutest!!!! We had a tiny mishap and Tiesha gave us her personal number to make sure it was taken care of when we got home. They took even made us a list of the best restaurants in New Orleans. We will be back for Mardi Gras...we want our same room lol. Thank you all for making my sister's birthday weekend THE BEST!!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at New Orleans Guest House, and it exceeded all my expectations. Nestled in a fantastic area, the location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions while still providing a quiet retreat.
The hotel itself was clean and cozy, from the lobby to the rooms. Every corner of the property was immaculately maintained, which immediately made me feel at ease. Secured parking was a huge plus, offering peace of mind knowing my vehicle was safe and easily accessible throughout my stay.
What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, greeting me with warm smiles and assisting promptly with any requests. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made me feel like a valued guest.
Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, New Orleans Guest House is a perfect choice. I’ll certainly be returning and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a clean, secure, and welcoming place to stay in this vibrant area. Five stars all around!

Our time here was nothing short of a dream. The warmth of the staff—especially the luminous Miss Teisha—was a gift, guiding us to the soul of this city with care and charm. The rooms whispered stories of enchantment, and the courtyard felt like stepping into another realm. The location? Perfection itself. Just a breath away from Louis Armstrong Park, where we had the serendipitous fortune to arrive during the vibrant pulse of the Jamaican Festival. It was so close to the incredible Tremé festival thay we nearly wandered into its rhythm by accident.
This place resides at the very heart of New Orleans—where art dances in the streets, music breathes through the air, and the food, oh, the food! Each bite was a verse, rich and poetic (thank you, Teisha, for your divine recommendations). We are already counting the days until we return to this magical sanctuary.

I thought it was wonderful:) staff was great, very LGBTQ friendly, the place has tons of character for an almost 200 yr old bldg! We will definitely book again, it was cheap, clean and practical.
Also possibly haunted so there's that lol :)

The location was perfect and the staff was very kind and helpful. We stayed outside the patio and it was just a little dirty. We ended up cleaning the bathroom our self to feel more comfortable as well as sweep the floor in the bed area. The inside of the other rooms seem to be much more clean.

The employees weere great. Location is perfect but fornthe price I paid for and the condition of the room, I could have stay somewhere closer to the water.
The room was in bad condtion, ac was broken but still blew air. The walls, celing and fan was caked with dirt and dusty. You get an iron and a fridge. Their were garbage in plants in the main lobby, someone even left their socks on the railing.The cable stopped working never came back on. I was really excited to stay here based on the photos.

The first room was on the end of the hallway & very small. The guy at the front desk was very helpful & offered us the bigger room next door. The worse part of our stay was both rooms had roaches. We didn’t ask for a refund, just decided to hatch it out due to we only stayed 2 nights.

We loved this hotel! There were four of us in a room with 2 double beds, it was a little small but we loved that. We loved everything about this hotel! Loved the fact that there was locked gated parking. And we could walk 2 blocks to bourbon street. It was a perfect stay! The staff was super friendly and so sweet! We will definitely be back!

The room was really dirty- dust piled up on the lamps, lampshades, ceiling fan. The bathroom was really run down, worse than any even bathrooms at any campsite I've stayed at. The bed was not comfortable. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. I set my hand on the wall and there was a random gooey spot left there? To top it off, my wife found dried orange/brown chunks on the comforter (likely dried vomit from a previous guest).
They did refund our stay, but I wouldn't stay there again if I was paid.
