only negative was walls were very thin so heard the neighbors coming in bright and early from a night out , wish there was room service or a good breakfast option

Bedbugs

Hotel was old, we later noticed bedbugs. My daughter had rashes on her skin.

This property was so close to everything in Downtown San Jose and the staff was so nice. Streaming and tv options could have been better with casting option and WiFi was a little complicated.

The hotel and the room were beautiful. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. However, considering the calibre of hotel this was supposed to be there were some disappointments. When we got to our room we learned that the USB ports and outlets at the desk and on one side of the bedroom did not work. We can to call for a technician. It took him a while to get there, but he was able to fix. When we went to the lobby bar for HH, we ordered our drinks at the bar. When the bill came, the bartender told us that the HH hour prices where for guests not seated at the bar who had a server wait on them. WTH? Never heard that one before. There is no self-parking at this hotel. It is all valet @ $50/night. Public parking garages around run about $25/night if you are up for schlepping your bags from the parking garage to the hotel. One relatively minor but still irksome thing for me is that the water bottle refill station in the lobby did not work the whole time we were there. And finally, the TV was annoying because there was no guide channel and no hard copy guide in the room. We could have dealt with it except that the channel listed on the Info of the TV screen did not align with the actual channel. We called and they said that can't fix that, it is just how it is. I just expected more.

Wonderful staff and great location. However, many turn offs, including stained bed sheets, windows looking outside looked disgusting, and broken shampoo caddie that was supposed to be on wall but was on the floor the entire time (with visible sticky tape on the back). Also: the toilet flushed all night randomly. I had to put a towel over sensor. This is a wonderful hotel that needs attention to small matters that count to costumers.

It was really clean.

Went for my sons first birth to enjoy Christmas in the park.Everthing was fine put my wife and son down around 8pm went to pull out the pullout bed not only was there no sheet for the bed it was stained with urine so had to sleep on the floor. It’s was around 830 so didn’t want to wake my family to change rooms.Then went to take shower in the morning shower head was broke the soap dish was loose hanging on the wall and shower door handle was broke took pictures went to front desk they said all the can do it note it. You would think they would give a discount or something off the suite I paid $600 dollars for. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Beautiful downtown venue. Top notch service. Fun lobby bar.

Staff is very friendly and professional. Properly is in excellent condition. Walking distance to the San Jose Opera and Christmas Village. We had great time.

Toilet is not function properly. Report to the front desk, but not 100% fix the problem. I need to use lobby's public rest room.

Rented a jr suite…the trolly bell that clanged every 20 minutes was horrible- no rest The echoing of every door in the hall slamming sucked Rented a suite for some comfort- didnt happen

Great hotel in a good location. Stayed here for 1 night and would definitely stay again. The hotel is stunning and the room was spacious. Loved it!
