Nice stay and enjoyed but very expensive on food and drinks. Shame wount be staying there again in a hurry as it was nice stay.

Our stay for my son's birthday was fantastic and the room was exceptional. It was great to be able to share the experience with my young grandchildren and for them to be very welcome. They especially enjoyed the pool. What we didn't like was the parking charges! The restaurants in the hotel were fully booked as we didn't prebook, so we went out for food. As we parked in the underground carpark we had to pay £13 to go out for food after only parking for 5 hours. We discovered the outside carpark was cheaper so parked there after we had eaten out and then paid £12 for overnight stay. £25 parking for an overnight stay is extortionate for what was otherwise an excellent break.

Excellent hotel but very busy.

The staff were rude and unable to provide any assistance especially at the reception seat.. in fairness the concierge staff were good and shuttle drivers were nice

Great stay, so much to do. They need more pools and we weren’t told we needed to prebook them so availability was minimal.

Had an amazing time

Ok hotel. Room very nice but the bathroom a bit dated and water only just had the chill off it when showering at about 7pm. We had one of the signature rooms which was comfortable but was sorry to see an extremely stained carpet and other stains (which just needed wiping) on the walls. Check in was meant to be 4pm but when I pre-checked in (via their app) at about 4.20 came back as “room not ready” and wasn’t confirmed as to being available until just gone 5pm. Nice touch however with a complimentary bottle of wine and Welsh cakes in room on arrival. However in my opinion over rated and extortionately expensive .

The hotel was probably luxurious back in the days but is very outdated now. The service was more like a 3*. Very overpriced, it cost £18 for 2 takeaway coffees, a bottle of water and a Ribena. I would say the bed was very comfortable, however the walls are that thin you can hear conversations next door. Unfortunately, we would not return.

Great check in very quick and friendly. Used spa and pool before check in which was nice but felt like things are due to be updated. This continued when getting to the room. Overall nice stay but maybe be time to modernise

Room was lovely and superb bedding and towelling Staff at reception very good and digital check in and out. Breakfast poor and little service despite plenty of staff in dining room

Shame I booked 3 room for a night. Which it was a better 48hrs

Great location, rooms were perfect. Loved the breakfast. Gym was good and easy to access.

Lovely hotel, the young lady on reception was very welcoming on arrival, room was clean and tidy, only issues were no bottled water in the room, empty mini bar, no bath robes in the room and the toiletries in the bathroom were all shampoo bottles for some reason, breakfast buffet wasn't the best either would give it a 5/10.

The Celtic manor resort has gone downhill so badly. From our first to last experience, we were shocked at the quality in so many areas. To think that presidents have stayed here is baffling. The pool and changing rooms are filthy. None of the lockers work, it smells, and the pool has so much chlorine I couldn’t see. The food is very average. The bar staff don’t know how to make a cocktail. Everything is overpriced. The room was clean, but the bed was so uncomfortable, and the walls were paper thin. Slightly better than a holiday inn. There are kids running around unattended all hours of the day and night. Even in the bars. They even had a really good pianist in one bar that was piped through broken speakers so he sounded like a dying robot. There was beer bottles and rubbish in the potted plants. It’s like nobody really cares anymore, and the place is slowly turning into a cheap motel for people with kids to let their little monsters run free while they drink overpriced cider. Not staying here again.
