When we drove into town and looked up directions to the hotel I discovered I had booked a room for the wrong date! On arriving, Michele at the desk assured us that she had a room, and would work something out. She helped me call Expedia (she gave me the number to call!) and was very patient with my confusion in multitasking with my phone. The help I got from Expedia was wonderful, and I was treated with kindness and understanding. After taking our things to our nice room with a view of the locks, we went out for dinner. That was a simple walk across the snowy street. The room was comfortable and quiet, and we had everything we needed. We were able to toast bagels and have fruit and coffee in the lobby at 6 am before we headed out for a great day of birdwatching. We had a great stay and recommend Hotel Ojibway to anyone.
