Great welcome and there is a restaurant behind the bar which I never noticed in my previous stay which was very nice. A lovely hotel and will definitely stay again

The hotel was outstanding and the reception team were top notch. Our room was a great family room and food was great.

Amazing place to stay, so relaxing, beautiful rooms and outstanding pool

The heat wasn't on in the room and there was no thermostat to control it. It wasn't warm by 11:00 pm, and when I woke up I was cold. I was booked for two days but I left after one night and just suckked up the loss on the second night.

Service wasn't great. When checking in the girl didn't greet us with a smile or smile once. The bathroom in our room was very smelly, and there was only one towel left out, hairs on the bed. Decor seemed a bit dated, wrinkly wallpaper. The pool was full of children and extremely busy all the time so not a pleasent experience. At breakfast you had to hunt for eggs and other items, there were two areas that served food but when we arrived at 9am one of the waitresses informed us they were not refilling any of the food items in one of the serving areas so had to queue up again on the other side of the restaurant for missing items (this was at 9am and breakfast was supposed to be served till 10am). I'd say the hotel represents itself as a 3 star hotel.

Fabulous stay and great hotel with amazing staff.

2003 & 2004 Both rooms pretty poor standard for a de vere hotel - 2004 bathroom door blown due to moisture so wouldn’t open all the way. Panelling along bath all flaking and peeling off due to moisture. Tile lifting. Carpets stained. Generally poor condition. Annual Christmas party occurring - no pre-warning for guests. Informed music would be going on until midnight. Live music, could hear every word of the song and floor was vibrating. May as well have added some disco lights and joined in. Moved us up to the next floor at 10pm, could still hear music until 12:30 although quite yet than first floor. MIL 70 and had our 6 year old. Booked it purely for sleep ironically. Stayed in numerous de veers in the past and this was without a doubt the worst experience. Travel frequently with work and absolutely not up to standard for the price regardless of the overnight party experience. Really disappointed. Poor experience.

Absolutely brilliant stay as a family with a 3 year old. We dined in at the buffet (a scary notion for a coeliac), the staff made me a pizza to order to ensure I wasn’t ill and also did the same with my breakfast in the morning. They have allergy matrix out and as soon as I said coeliac they were all exceedingly accommodating and mentioned cross contamination before I could. It genuinely felt like they cared. We couldn’t have asked for more!

The De Vere was excellent - a huge but well kept hotel with good parking, lovely interior design and immaculately clean. My room with cosy with character and modern amenities. All staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was excellent - good size, clean and correct temperature. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Only downside was no steam & sauna and due to the size of the hotel it was a very long walk to my room.

Really poor stay, rooms extremely tired, blue bleach stains all over toilet, extremely small rooms no space for luggage, rooms nothing like pictured, carpet so thin it’s rolling up and ripped, no where near 4 star, useless staff, had us walking up and down halls with all our luggage at midnight with 3 young children, they could not locate our room. Was not a pleasurable experience at all, can’t be classed as a four star hotel, I would have given it 2 stars at best. Really really awful stay and would never return. Everything was difficult and everything was a problem. I would advise not to stay here.

Really nice place for large conferences as well as one night stops

This hotel is enormous with several conferences being held on the day we arrived. It consists of several wings which are far away from reception and the bar and restaurant's so be prepared for a long walk. The accommodation varies massively in size and accessibility and it’s very easy to get lost.

This hotel is overrated. The hotel is dark and very tired. They put me in a room so small I could hardly move and access was via a rickety old stairs with no lift access. Could tell it was the boarding house when it was a school and it was very dark and claustrophobic. There are much nicer hotels nearby.

Yet again an amazing hotel, been to most of of the De vere hotels! Room amazing, albeit quite a trek from reception ! 1705 restaurant was a bit of a let down, as I asked for a plain chicken filet burger but it came with a pickle relish inside and the chips were still hard inside, did advise staff and they knocked of 12% service charge, fair enough. Breakfast was lovely, a nice big room with separate areas so no queuing , was very busy ! Lovely grounds, great to explore and lots of lovely nooks in hotel to sit down and have a coffee etc Will def be back again, only 10 mins into Windsor town and 5 mins to royal Windsor farm shop!

Great stay for one night. Comfy bed, clean bathroom, delicious breakfast with lots of choice. Would stay again.

Overall, amazing. A lift would complement this beautiful hotel.

We stayed one night- when visiting Windsor. Best hotel to stay in that is close by to the castle- the estate is beautiful, the facilities are all clean and modern. It’s only a couple of minutes drive to the centre! Staff were lovely and helpful.
