What a great little place in Northern Ontario. The room was large and recently redone. Everything was clean and in place and just and overall great experience. Don’t let the name fool you.

I always have a great stay at Econo lodge. The staff is always very freindly and flexible with requests. The rooms are clean and tidy. And the beds are extremely comfortable. I continue to use their rooms everytime i visit Cochrane which is several times per month.

For the life of me I can’t understand the solid rating of 8.8. This place needs to be torn down. I had already booked and paid online due to the good reviews. When I arrived there was nobody at the front desk and 1 vehicle in the parking lot. When the attendant did come to the front he promptly checked me into room 102. As I’m walking down the hallway I couldn’t help but notice the dirt on the floor. I walked into my room and couldn’t believe the condition of the floor. The laminate flooring had obviously been wet at one point and was completely warped. It was so bad that I could have easily lift individual boards as they were moving under my feet. The floor was dirty as well. I was able to get another room as there was nobody else staying at the hotel and the flooring was at least intact. Definitely not the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. Very disappointing

Room cleanliness was average, but what left my experience disappointed was the toilet. Someone decided to use it and not properly flush. Isn’t the toilet suppose to be cleaned and not used afterwards? Seeing this left me with very little confidence in the staff and cleaned it myself.

Overall stay was good. Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable. Price was very reasonable. My only issue was there were some spots in the room where theflooring was shifting

The rooms are not insulated and you can hear your neighbors shower or use the bathroom. Aside from that the rooms are ok and the price is reasonable.

After a long day’s drive getting here, there was no one at check-in for 15 minutes. Instead, they wanted me to call someone to say I was here. There was no pick-up on two calls. Paper thin walls, heard the snoring all night, and someone next door let their alarm run on. All in all, the worst hotel night I’ve had in years. I’ll not be back.
