The Museum of Ancient Weapons (also known as the Worldwide Arms Museum) was established by Mr. Robert Taylor in 2012, so locals call it the Robert Taylor Museum. With 500 mannequins wearing military uniforms from around the world and thousands of rare weapons, this is considered a museum worth seeing in Vietnam. The exhibition area at the Museum of Ancient Weapons is up to 1,500m2, in an old French building, giving viewers a close look at the military uniforms and combat weapons of armies around the world such as: Japan, China, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Russia... over the centuries. Visitors who come to Robert Taylor Museum of Ancient Weapons not only can discover weapons from ancient to modern countries but also have the opportunity to discover the unique culture of each country through weapons with fine patterns
Located at 98 Tran Hung Dao Street, Ward 1, Vung Tau City, the house has an ancient appearance built in the French period
In order for visitors to better visualize the military history of many countries around the world, the museum space is divided into rooms with separate themes in chronological order.
Visiting the Museum, visitors will discover the values of history through 3 periods from Ancient to Medieval and Modern.
