Citadines South Vienna

We enjoyed the property but we were with 2 other groups of our family. 3 rooms total. Our family with 6 month old baby could not get their heat to adjust. It was SO HOT in their room they and baby could not rest. Hotel was notified at the time and did nothing, sent no help. We were flying out the next day and they got no rest at all. The property offered no help, no remedy, no new room, not even a refund or discount after the fact. Would definitely not use again. You are completely stranded and on your own if you have a problem of any kind.

O quarto era muito diferente das fotos, bem menor do que esperava. Sacada suja. A cozinha é bem equipada, porem em 3 dias de estadia nao teve sequer uma troca de lixo, muito menos limpeza no quarto, mesmo solicitando na recepção, ja q estava precisando. Atendimento da recepção deixa muito a desejar! tanto eu quanto um casal de amigos ficamos bem insatisfeitos. Estacionamento caro, assim como a estadia, nao vale o valor cobrado. Não recomendo e nao voltaria.

Estadia péssima ! Atendimento horrível, lugar feio, quarto sujo e fedido, informamos e nada foi feito, além de entrarem em nosso quarto sem permissão.

Good stay hotel close to tram stop

A great choice of accommodation convenient for transport to most tourist attractions in Vienna either via tram or train and exceptionally quiet except for one night when a very loud disco carried on until the early hours.

Very fine apartment.

Traveling alone for business and really like this hotel. Property is clean and well kept up. Located very close to train / tram access and can get anywhere quickly. Staff is super friendly and breakfast was pretty basic but totally acceptable. My room was big with full kitchen. Dining options are limited in the direct surroundings but no complaints because the best doner kepab place is 2 blocks away. Overall highly recommended for a business traveler or even solo vacation traveler. But with my wife I would probably stay closer to downtown Vienna. Enjoy!!!

I stayed Citadines South Vienna property last week, December 3, 2024. My family (Torres & Metcalf) booked three rooms. I opted to upgrade to a deluxe room since it was my birthday. Unfortunately we ended up having a horrible experience. The apartment was extremely hot. It was unbearable for us to sleep in. We made sure the heat was off and opened the windows. It was 30 degrees fahrenheit but that barely cooled it at all.We contacted the number given and were basically told to open our windows, which we already had but the property is on a very busy street so this was not a reasonable solution as it was VERY noisy all night. We told them we had already done so and the windows had been open as much as they could for over two hours but the room was still incredibly hot and we couldn't sleep. We were told to wait a few hours and see if the room cooled down. At 3:00am we were still awake, miserable so we called again and asked if we could leave and get a refund. The overnight contact said they were not authorized and we would have to talk with reservations the next day. They told us were we could go in the building to get ourselves a fan. My husband got dressed and got the fan but I can't sleep with a fan as it makes me sick/sinus congestion etc. I spent an hour trying to contact Hotels.com at 4:00am but also got no where. I had no sleep and 20 hours of travel the next day. I felt completely sick the next morning from no rest. Awful experience. Should not charge for this!

The whole process from booking to check out was seamless and really felt like they wanted to do their best for you. Despite being on a busy road, inside was very quiet and the location was great near a tram stop. Everything was as advertised and instructions how to get there were perfect. The apartment was clean and spacious.

The staff was friendly and always available for help. The room was well equipped.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Es gab alles, was man braucht, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Das Bett war sehr bequem und die Bettwäsche sehr sauber. Meine Unterkunft lag an einer sechsspurigen Straßenseite. Obwohl die Fenster geschlossen waren, hörte man den Verkehr die ganze Nacht sehr laut und deutlich.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was amazing. Staffs are very friendly, helpful and the area here is very convenient for public transportation. With laundry available in the facility, it made our trip easier. Rooms are very clean and they were spacious for 4 people. Definitely will stay here again when we come back here. Thank you for all the help from the staff.

We stayed 4 days in this hotel, we enjoyed it; especially the enterance to rooms are very easy. We are free to enter with special room digital code besides thinking about the reception staff working hours. The hotel is proffesional in their job, they send emails on time about the whole process.

Good service

Great position, Lidl across the road for grabbing bits for the day and room, straight onto Line 1 on the tram behind the complex which is great. Everything in Vienna is within a 30 tram or underground stop. Highly recommend

Vi förlängde vår resa ett par dagar till och bytte till ett större rum längst upp i huset med fler sovrum. Det blev ännu bättre!
