I wasn't expecting much from this property because it was very reasonably priced but it was actually a super hotel very large beds very comfortable and a spacious room. The shower gel was super nice and overall this Ramada is a great place with a nice breakfast also

It’s a hidden cost on arrival considering your in a motorway services everyone will have a vehicle!!

We booked this hotel last minute and were pleasantly surprised! We chose a family room for two, and it was spacious, spotless, and in a quiet area, just what we needed. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming.
We had dinner at the hotel, and the food was good, the overall dining experience was enjoyable. Parking was an extra £5, but it was easy to find a spot, so no complaints there. The location was great too—there were grocery stores (including Waitrose and 24hours WHSmith), restaurants, and even a prepaid washing machine all within walking distance.
Another great perk, it’s close to historical spots! We took a trip to Bath, which was about a 50-minute drive, making it a great base for exploring.
What you see in the website is what you get in the hotel, its great value for money, especially if you have a car. I would recommend!

Breakfast dreadful, tables not set, rubbish everywhere. Not a clean table to be seen. Arrived at 9.20. Nothing topped up. Only one member of staff. Very poor not worth the price !!.

Stayed for one night. Ordered food which took extremely long as only one chef. The coleslaw had gone off and had a very pungent smell.

We were a couple checking into a double room -
only 1 towel, had to get a second from reception;
only 1 extra pillow - we made do.
Shower gel and shampoo was empty - told reception on day 1 & day 2, but by the time we left on day 3 - none had arrived.

Last minute decision to stay here, decent price, large seating in bar/ reception area. Check out is 11 which I liked without having to rush up and out. Easy check in and out. Room was a decent size and bed was comfortable, my only gripe was remote for tv didn't work properly.

Beds are comfortable, convenient since close to services and M5.
The place is a bit noisy at night as its close to motorway.
I che ked in late in night, could just switch on bedside lamp lights and couldn't find main room lights.

Hotels.com states on site-parking available but doesn't make it clear there is a £5 charge. Manager gave me a free pint to compensate me, so service was excellent. Room is spacious. Hotel is a little tired.

The room was ok and the bed comfortable, I managed to get a good nights sleep.
However, the food wasn't the greatest, the breakfast choices were limited and the cooked breakfast was cold even thought it was under heat lamps.

24 hour reception so no worries about late check-ins… (might have to let them know if there’s a chance of this though?)
Room was great for family of four. Rooms are very quiet - I think soundproofed. Breakfast was really great! I only marked it down slightly on the cleanliness etc due to state of carpet in our room but really pleased for the money.
