The initial room we were put in had a really bad sewer smell. The host made it right and gave us another room immediately … excellent service and the new room was great!!!

Excelente el lugar, cerca de todo, el servicio muy bueno, el desayuno apropiado, lo uno criticable, el colchón, ya un poco viejo, de ahí en fuera gracias por el hospedaje

Lugar excelente y céntrico

Es war eine Familienreise. Der Preis und die Lage war für London recht gut, deswegen haben wir dort gebucht. 1. das Hotel ist sehr runtergekommen 2. Schimmel an den Wänden im Badezimmer 3. Löcher in den Wänden 4. der Flur stinkt 5. schmutzige Teppiche im Hotel Hier wurde leider lange kein Geld in Inventar und Bausubstanz. Das Frühstück war ok, obwohl der Frühstücksraum (im Keller) sehr gruselig ist.

Didn’t liked the bathroom and roof of it, to dirty and with mouldy

You get what you pay for considering location price. It was a comfy enough bed with a private bathroom in a really convenient location in London. The whole place could do with some tlc and not sure why there is random furniture on the stairs. Required a step up to the bathroom and when sat on the loo straight your knees prevented the door from closing (although it wouldn’t stay closed anyway). There were extra pillows in the random wardrobe with a missing door. Didn’t hear anyone else in other rooms. Breakfast eggs were ok, sausage a little sad and I passed on the beans. There was coffee, water, orange juice, cereal, toast (butter & jams) also available. Staff were friendly and helpful. 24h staff to let you in the building and we left our bags after check out until later in the afternoon when we were leaving the city.

Very poor standard in the room. Mold on the roof of the toilet. The shower head was covered with mold and other things. It was not possible to change the heat on the radiator, which did not give off any heat at all. A window could not be closed, sat too high up to reach properly. Chaos in the breakfast room. Nice staff who do their best. Absolutely ok breakfast. Construction work all afternoon.

Service sympathique , hôtel très bien situé, à proximité de tout !! Nous avons été dans une chambre qui venait d’être rénovée, chambre très propre et salle de bain aussi ! Le lit était très confortable. Service de chambre tous les jours, petit déjeuné simple mais efficace. Seul bémol serait le bruit la nuit (parquet qui grince à cause de nombreux passages et isolation des chambres pas top). Je recommande à 100% pour vos séjours dans la ville !

The room was clean and suitable for a 2 star accommodation but having pieces of furniture in hallways I felt was unsafe. The coffee vending machine although free had very little availability. When having breakfast the milk was off and a lot of noise coming from kitchen area which was open to view for the diners.

Lage war super. Personal freundlich. Das wars dann aber auch schon. Überall uralter abgewohnter Teppichboden. Zimmerboden: Teppichboden mit darunterliegenden Löchern. Kopfkissen waren ca 1 cm dick. Diverse Glühbirnen im Zimmer defekt. Die Möbel sagen eher aus wie Sperrmüll. Dusche nur für Personen mit Kleidergröße XS-M. Boden im Bad teilweise schimmlig und defekt. Fernseher Größe DIN A4. Tapete fleckig ind hängt teilweise von der Wand. Man könnte da richtig was draus machen, hat sich aber wohl schon vor 15 Jahren entschieden nix mehr zu machen.

Das Duschwasser wird nur lauwarm, wenn offensichtlich mehrere Gäste duschen, der Wasserhahn am Waschbecken ist total locker, das Zimmerfenster hat einen Riss. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Nous avons réservé une chambre de 3 personnes pour 4 nuits. Nous sommes arrivés vers minuit, nous avons poireauté à la réception durant 40 bonnes minutes, comprenant rapidement qu’il y avait un problème. Notre chambre avait été attribuée à quelqu’un d’autre : apriori à cause d’un soucis informatique … Nous avons au final été mis « provisoirement » pour une nuit dans une « chambre » au sous sol, insalubre, extrêmement sale, et délabrée (mur qui tombe en lambeau, plafond fissuré et affaissé, poils sur les draps, fuite d’eau au niveau du WC, très forte odeur de saleté et poussière…). A quasiment 110€ la nuit, juste honteux ! L’hôtel a refusé de nous rembourser. Ils nous ont ensuite ré attribué une chambre un peu plus correcte, pour les 3 nuits suivantes. Globalement, l’hôtel est très vieillot certe, mais extrêmement sale (très vielle moquette non nettoyée dans tout l’hôtel, allergiques aux acariens passez votre chemin…). Pour le check out, nous avons attendu un moment à l’accueil mais personne n’est venu. Nous avons dû déposer les clés sur le comptoir et partir ainsi. Très mauvaise expérience. Seul point positif : la localisation.

Second time at Stanley House hotel. Kind and helpfull staff. It is close to almost everything

Property very out dated. Ripped net curtains. Bathroom not clean. Window didn't close properly. No room amenities such as a kettle etc. Vending in lobby but limited choices. Only tea with sugar. Not great. Served a purpose but that is it

El hotel es viejo, nuestra habitación tenía una pared con mucho MOHO. El baño era miniatura y la cortina colgaba de la lámpara… se salía el agua por montones. Sin embargo para el precio y para lo que hay muy cerca del hotel está OK. Es un hotel que definitivamente solo usarás para dormir ya que está horrible pero la verdad muy céntrico.

the place is not in a good state, our room is in the basement. When we arrived the lightbals in 2out of 3 were not working! They got it fixed after I told them - the coffeemaker with free coffee and tea where our of most offers - and at breakfast there were only Rosted toast. No cheece only marmelade and butter. You can choose between hardboiled eggs and very greasy stewt eggs. The boiled coffee is great. The toilet is leeks, not to bee fixed until after our departure. The sealing is falling down , and I 'm glad we didn't pay ore than 328.01 GBP, in all. The Staff are very friendly.
