Thon Hotel Alta

Alta is a small place. Thon hotel is in the center of town. Clean, peaceful, lovely staff and a fantastic restaurant.

Non c'è molta scelta in centro di Alta, ma d'altra parte non si tratta di una perla dell'urbanistica residenziale. Questo Hotel è in ottime condizione, il personale è efficiente , la pulizia impeccabile ed una mini cucinette può tornare utile quando è impossibile categoricamente trovare una qualsiasi forma di ristorazione pubblica aperta , durante le Feste comandate. There is not much choice in the center of Alta, but on the other hand the town is not a pearl of residential urbanism. This hotel is in excellent condition, the staff is efficient, the cleanliness is impeccable and a mini kitchenette can come priceless when it is categorically impossible to find any form of public restaurant ( even Take away Pizza ) open during public holidays.

There are only three restaurants in the area to eat from during the holiday season. The hotels restaurant was very good, as was the Pepe Pizza next to the hotel, and Erica’s was ok. Alta is beautiful, and the area offers a few thongs to do during winter: dog sledding, Sami reindeers, Alta Museum (rock carvings), snow shoe hiking, etc. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. The rugs can use a deep cleaning, but overall very good hotel. Had a false alarm, but quickly informed guests of the situation. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will come back in the future. ❤️
