Americas Best Value Inn Green River

It was clean. We didn’t get in until 11 pm and the gentleman at the desk was welcoming. We just needed a place to sleep and shower so it fit our bill. It said it had a continental breakfast and that was the main reason we picked it, but included waffles, cereal, and muffins with coffee and juice, we were hoping for eggs but there was none, but kind of understand with the price of eggs these days. It was quite so got good sleep.

The property was clean, quiet, orderly, and almost comfortable: the pillows are bags of lumps - but I was expecting that, and remembered to bring my own pillow. What I noticed most of all: above the vanity/sink area was a light fixture with four brutally blindingly bright glaring light bulbs almost blue in color. No one who understands hospitality chooses lights like this. I unscrewed three of them so the light there would be at least slightly less harsh. When you see things like that, you know the management is not really attuned to guest comfort. Also - at the free breakfast, except for the skim milk, there was not a gram of protein: no scrambled eggs, no sausage, no protein of any kind. It was all carbohydrates. My family and I went down the road for something to eat. The beds had no blankets. There were sheets and a "bedspread" that was also a sheet, but to stay warm, the heat had to be dialed up. I'd be willing to pay more for lodging that makes me feel more welcome.

I booked a hotel room yesterday for this hotel. My car broke down and I could not get to the hotel. I called to let them know and they charge me $72 anyway. I’m very upset.

Conveniently located off I-70 about 1/2 way between Denver and Las Vegas. Good overnight stop for my trip.

This has become my go-to hotel when I go to Moab. It is clean, convenient, and the service is amazing. The price is what first drew me in, but I've stayed in hotels at 350.00 a night not as good.

Carpet's nasty. Vendo for snacks not working. Cable has good channels. Bfast is so-so. Beds needs new linen. Did I say carpet needs to be changed? Room is clean and staff were great.

Great place to stay!

Not really bad for a quick, inexpensive stop on a long drive. Television was surprisingly high quality. All the lights in the room were brutally blue/white and bright. Ceiling light was not covered. Front desk lady was very nice.

I arrived with my two German Shepherds and they had a nice clean room waiting for us. And although there were other guests in the building, it was very quiet and a relaxing place to stay. The full size bathtub was a plus!

The hotel had a strong smell of Indian food that greeted me at the front desk and lingered in the hallways throughout my stay. While not unpleasant, it was quite overpowering and made the hotel feel less fresh. If you’re sensitive to strong odors, this could be a downside. The AC/heater was loud. Otherwise, the staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast ended early and they served boiled eggs, wheat toast, mini muffin, waffles, cereal, oatmeal.

Overall property was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and beds were just the right firmness. Not too soft and not to firm. Breakfast was typical of an hotel breakfast with several options. Only suggestion would be to provide a few more wash cloths and hand towels.
