Always a great place to stay when prices are appropriate. Could use some minor updates, like shower head replacements, but other than that I have no complaints.

The staff was amazing! We had to find lodging due to a blizzard and they were so nice and welcoming. We would definitely stay again!

We called in advance to ask for a room with a two person jacuzzi tub in it. We got in very late, knew no pools/hotub would be open and had been driving through the MW Jan cold on adventures and only wanted to soak. We called to verify this option, they had1 king deluxe suite. I booked through my credit card instead of their website, I informed the front desk who said if I booked the wrong one we’d deal with it there. I ended up paying a bit more plus fees which was fine. But the room had not been well cleaned as there were strange, very dirty swabs of TP clogging the peepholes, small amounts of wadded trash pieces under the couch..most importantly the tub didn’t work!!! I called the desk, they said maintenance wouldn’t be in until the next day. The problem with the jetted deluxe suite tub was there was no way to hold what would release the shower into the bath. It would have taken HOURS. We were so tired we crashed and figured we would talk to the desk about it when we woke up. The final push to leave was at breakfast. The man serving it was hostile and rude. He said he was in pain, had fallen the weekend before on ice. I had sympathy but he was very nasty, slamming containers of food, almost refusing to give me a second plate to bring to my sleeping partner, and angry at his job. He routinely winced and swore. I’m not sure who to be upset with- maybe the hotel & their policies? Or what. But it was bad. I will be contacting the hotel for some sort of refund.

Quiet, clean, and convenient! Loved making my own waffle for breakfast!

Building is under construction, which would be really nice to know BEFORE booking. The heater in our room made a terrible squeal and whine noise all night long until we finally turned it off and dealt with the cold instead. Room was clean and tidy, very comfortable.

Under Construction. Have to ask them to service room. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Happy hour every evening is nice touch.

Always a pleasure to stay here! The staff and accommodations are always good and the few issues that I've had over the years have been taken care of quickly and with professionalism.

When searching Expedia we were only able to find up to "three star" hotels in Topeka, so we picked on that offered breakfast and was convenient. This was far and away from a three star experience, the breakfast was sub par at best and filled with grease. If this wasn't a pit stop on a 2500 mile journey we would have cancelled our reservation and found another hotel.

Price was appropriate for accommodations. They did not share in the description that they were a hotel undergoing remodeling. Some parts of it were in active remodeling.

Plenty of green space around property to walk and let your dog run. Room was clean and pleasant. TV issue addressed promptly. Courtesy drinks 5-7pm a great plus. Desk lady and bartender super friendly. Will stay here again.

Hotel s undergoing some renovations but it still nice. Adequate hot breakfast. Loved being able to have coffee anytime I wanted it. They have a daily happy hour firm 5 to 7, which is very cool. Must request room service which is the norm these days.
