Very nice and clean hotel

Very nice room. Amenities were good. Convenient shuttle to Winterplace. Only negative was the incessant complaining by shuttle drivers about having to drive to Winterplace and around the resort. Every trip. Multiple drivers. I understand they were short handed but it is inappropriate to complain to customers.

The resort is great. We came to ski at Winterplace and stayed here for 5 days. It is just 15 min away from the slopes. In case the snow conditions are not good there are many options for activities at the leisure center: movies, bowling, swimming, tennis, basketball, lazer tag, gym. Accommodations at the Inn are very specious. Breakfast provided gives enough varieties. Matthew, the front desk manager, and Mr. Tom at the leasure center were extremely kind. Food at the sports bar is also surprisingly good. Portions are quite large. We had a lot of fun and we will definitely be back.

Pretty Place

Fantastic resort if you are looking for a room near WinterPlace. Well appointed facility with many amenities and a delicious breakfast. My kids want to keep coming back.

Beautifully decorative Clean

We stay at Glade Springs every year in Dec. traveling to our annual Family Christmas in WV. We live in GA but from the southern WV area. We love this resort and love the recreation center as well as the great Breakfast. We hope to come back in the summer sometime and enjoy the warm weather amenities.

I have no comment , but to say we enjoyed our stay at the Glade Springs Resort.

We come here every year in the off season, it has everything we need for an overnight stay. Reasonable prices, decent food and a friendly bar and staff.

We spent two nights here while exploring New River Gorge NP. A nice resort , would probably stay again if in the area.

It was close to all the state parks. But the room was dated and dirty.

The property, onsite activities, and overall experience was nice. However, the bed was very uncomfortable and we did not sleep well.

Our stay was very nice! We are excited to bring our family back when our daughters are a little bit older! Great family getaway spot!

Nice resort with lots of activities & very helpful staff. The resort looks like it could use a face lift ; looking a little dated. However, our family members all loved having our own mini condos & yet we could gather in the evening to hang out together. We would definitely return to this property.

We had a great stay! Executive suites were perfect for the two of us. Good breakfast, sports bar dinner was good.

We stayed in the executive suites which was not part of the main hotel. They are dated and had a musty odor. The beds were comfortable but the furniture in the living room was not. Everyone was friendly and the shuttle service is great! We didnt stay in the room much, so it wasn't really a big deal, just not what i expected. Next time i will stay in the main hotel though.

We stayed in the executive suites. We arrived between 3 and 4 but our room was not ready. We were told we’d get a text when it was ready but that didn’t happen and we returned to the lobby at 5 to check in. We asked for a late check out and were told the room was already reserved for the next day. The living area was dark, cushions torn, bed lumpy with flat pillows, and our sink was clogged. We check out the following day and spent the day playing golf. Around 5 we realized we’d rather stay another night so we went to get another room. We were given a different room in the executive suites and realized that we had left items in our old room. We were then told the room was unoccupied so we could go check for the items. (But for some reason we were not allowed a late checkout?) The items were not there and we were told to check back again. The second room had the same furnishing problems but the drain was not clogged. We attempted the breakfast on our first day and none of the sternos were burning so the food was luke warm at best, the potatoes were dry and inedible, the bread was stale ( can’t just keep recycling that bread day after day) Just very disappointing. This is supposed to be one of the nicest places to stay in the area and the property is beautiful but come on. Small talk cafe was excellent, though. Also, stop serving brown lettuce in your salads at Bunkers. I’ve been there several times and it seems to be a recurring theme. We did finally get our missing items.

Nice place to stay

Beautiful location, lovely facilities. My cottage had flimsy boards on the porch, which need replacing. My room was very nice, but also had some structural integrity issues. The floor was very wavy. The uneven floor made it impossible to close the bathroom door. (Thank goodness I was alone.)The HVAC units in the room were not working properly, but maintenance responded very quickly.
