Vom Frühstück waren wir etwas enttäuscht. Wir kennen das Haus seit vielen Jahren. Dieses Mal nur alte aufgebackene Brötchen. Schade!

The 2 nights stay at Stadt Hotel was excellent. Staffs were friendly & kind. Check in was fast, and the apple strudel welcome dessert was excellent. Piazza Walther was just 2 minutes walk & surrounding were filled with good restaurants. My first impression with Bolzano was great.

We had a great stay .. best location n lovely hotel , breakfast was nice also .. bathroom could do with a touch up but overall everything was perfect !

We found the location to be ideal and convenient for the Aldstadt. The hotel is superbly placed and in easy reach of the main railway. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delightful in range and quality with as many double espressos as we could handle! The spa was of excellent quality with great ease of use being on a booking system.

Das Zimmer war schön im obersten Stockwerk gelegen mit Blick zum Weihnachtsmarkt. Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer gebucht. Das Bad war leider viel kleiner wie in der Buchung gezeigt. Die Reinigung des Zimmers war am ersten Tag leider nur oberflächlich, am zweiten Tag aber sehr gut. Das Hotelpersonal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei einem Stadtbesuch in Bozen würden wir das Hotel sofort wieder buchen.

Location is amazing, walking distance to everything. Staff are polite and welcoming. Cons: being a 4* property expected in-room facilities such as milk/cream sachets were not provided, milk had to be paid for €5, spa facilities not free for residents charge of €20pp applied, no body lotion/creams provided, used cups not replaced by cleaning team Otherwise, it was a great stay and the benefit of free Bolzano card was really helpful to explore around.Thankyou

Très bel hôtel et super service.

For an older property, it was well maintained. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. A big shoutout to Shaby, who is the epitome of service. He had great suggestions for places to visit and also made you feel very special. The hotel is convenient to everything. I will definitely stay there again.

Satey & comfortable, close to market & public transportation....

Lovely suite to adjust to the jet lag, with a plentiful breakfast. The staff shared excellent restaurant and activity recommendations - make time to learn Otzi the Iceman’s story! Take advantage of the Bolzano pass to access lifts, public transportation, and museums.

Excellent Hotel, great location, well worth the price, fine breakfast. On my list to come back to!

This hotel is listed as a parking-restricted area, but let me reiterate that this means driving-restricted. There is polizei directing traffic into the old city and they won’t let you in by car without proof of a hotel booking. After obtaining access, I ended up with my huge BMW in the middle of a crowd of people in Piazza Walther. The GPS was taking me around it but there were no signs on the street indicating I couldn’t drive there, and if there were I couldn’t read/understand them. The people were mad and cussing at me, but the polizei wasn’t. They laughed at my stupidity and said to drive through them but get out. Parking is public not private, accessed by a side street that leads to underground parking, for Hotel Greif and Hotel Stadt and others. I suggest not moving your car from whatever parking space you’re lucky enough to find initially and either walk around Bolzano henceforth or use public transit. The hotel rooms are old and small, but renovated beautifully and my view of Walther Square and the surrounding Alps was breathtaking. Breakfast in the morning was good, I would suggest for this luxury hotel to upgrade bread choices, service staff helpful, but the breakfast lounge was so crowded they had to overflow guests to the restaurant. I would also suggest programming within all booking apps the address to the PARKING and not the address to the hotel entrance. When we push “Directions” while driving in a crowded city we do not see specialized instructions

Bathroom was very small and not representative of the photos on the website. No wash cloths, asked for multiple extra pillows only got one. Breakfast was terrible, tables were dirty, no service , do we left after waiting to no abail.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was nice. The staff was very helpful. We had a dinner at the restaurant there, it was very good. The breakfast buffet was the best we had in our travels around Northern Italy. We went to see the Iceman museum, very interesting. Also can recommend the ride in the tram, great views. The people in Bolzano were friendly, helpful and boisterous in a fun way.

Excellent location in a city with many things to see and do.

Sehr schönes zentral gelegenes Hotel. Das Haus stammt aus dem Anfang des 20. Jahrhundert ist aber liebevoll, modern und sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr bequeme Betten. Eine Parkmöglichkeit gibt es im öffentlichen Parkhaus, welches direkten Zugang zu Hotel hat. Parkgebühren recht teuer. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
