Enoshima/Kamakura Area
The Enoshima/Kamakura area is a highly popular tourist destination in Kanagawa Prefecture. It is a charming city for many foreigners with its many temples, shrines, and other historical buildings. The surrounding area also has a great view of the sea and mountains
Yokosuka Area
Take a short bus ride from Dobuita Street and watch the tunnel give way to the memorable view of Yokosuka City. Yokosuka was a naval port city and still holds a military base appearance to this day. Alight from Hashirimizu Elementary School and gaze at this unique city from the observation deck. You'll be able to see as far as Tokyo Bay and Mt. Fuji.
Zushi/Hayama Area
The Zushi/Hayama area is popular as a beach and summer resort, charming tourists with its proximity to the sea and mountains. Visit the Kotsubo Seaside Park with its lines of palm trees and watch the most magical view during sunset.
Miura/Misaki Area
Miura is a beach with a long, shallow strip of sand that is popular for walking and sunbathing in the summer. Try riding a bike along the coast and gaze at the Boso Peninsula from afar! In the winter, the beach becomes a drying spot for daikon (Japanese radish) to make either hoshi daikon (dried radish) or kiriboshi daikon (dried radish strips), two popular local delicacies.
