07:30-18:00 - Pickup Depart for Cu Chi Tunnels from Ho Chi Minh City. - Watch an introductory video about the history of Cu Chi and its hardship during the American War. This will also give you an overview of the creation process of the tunnel systems. - Explore the permitted areas of the tunnel systems including living areas (bedrooms and kitchens) and martial facilities (storage, field hospitals, weapon factories, and command center). - Visit a shooting range (activity at own expense). - Relax by sipping tangy tea and enjoy cassava, the main food of former Vietnamese guerrillas. - Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. - Depart for Mekong Delta. Arriving in My Tho, hop on a motorboat to journey through the picturesque canals and waterways, taking in stunning views of the legendary Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix Islets. - Visit a traditional workshop where you can witness the step-by-step processing of making coconut candy, honey farming, and more while indulging in some delicious samples and enjoying the sounds of traditional music. - Take a sampan ride along the shady, breezy canal. - Hop on an Xe Lôi–a type of local transportation–to explore the villages. - Embark on a scenic boat trip through the canals shaded by water coconut trees as you make your way back to My Tho pier. - Head back to Ho Chi Minh City. - Drop-off at the original pickup point or a requested location in the city center. - End of tour.
