I stayed here for 2nites for my birthday celebration at the deluxe room which is very huge compare to other hotel, the hotel greeted us with unique welcome drink & a slice of birthday cake in my room, thanks. Really awesome place, Pak Theo the Duty Manager were helpful as well. Hotel decoration with Christmas vibes really beautiful, would defenitely recommend to everyone to stay here it's really worth the price indeed👍would love to come back again next time I visit Solo.

We have a short pleasant stay in mahalaya hotel. The authenticity of java heritage was very reflect in their design and service. The room are spacious, the bathroom was spacious as well. We also got free minibar in the room. Mahalaya will be our first choice for stay if we visit solo again.

It has spacious room, even we add an extra bed the room is still spacious for 3 of us. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast menu is various and tasty, with good ambience in the restaurant. Most of all, I love the vintage vibe from the hotel. There 's dutch song plays all along, you can see the picture of solo in 1890 's, lot of batik ornaments. I'll be back to Mahalaya whenever I visit Solo again.

We had a pleasant stay at Mahalaya. The staff were always ready to assist with any issues. The bedroom was spacious, so was the bathroom area. The air con was cool. Cleanliness was good. My only issue was with the almost non existent soundproofing in the room. Noise from the rooms next door and the corridor, as well as traffic noise could be heard quite loudly.

Room is spacious, clean. Staffs are friendly. The only suggestion for better service is to provide soundproof walls because we heard our neigbours’ activities next door.
