The hotel has attractive and colorful design. The room is not very large, but has essential facilities. It is 5 mins drive to Ipoh Parade and Concubine Lane, quite near the city centre. The free minibus only drops guests at major attractions, not a tour. We didn't have enough time to try this service. Breakfast is Western style, so good for those who could not eat local food. Overall, an enjoyable stay!

1) The hotel like in the 80's superstar condition. Reminiscent of the past. 2) The security guard very family friendly. 3) Check-in and check out not so hassle. 4) No separate shower and bath tub area in the bathroom. Hotel Excelsior Ipoh

We stayed in the family room, which was very spacious with sofa and a table. It is also clean. The staff is very friendly. The location is also very strategic. Many food nearby, with Foh San dim sum and Chong Yang kopitiam just at the road behind the hotel. There are even convenience stores and a laundry nearby. We had a pleasant stay here. Will be back again.
