・Ouchijuku

"Ouchijuku" located in Minami-Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture, was a prosperous town on the important road connecting Aizu-Wakamatsu City and Nikko-Imaichi during the Edo period. Today, it still retains the style of the Edo period, with thatched-roofed houses lining the roads. To continue this scenery, residents live in it as shops and residences. In Showa 56, it was designated as an important area for the preservation of traditional buildings selected by the country. While all residents work together to maintain the architectural landscape, the traditional thatch roof covering technology is also passed down. After about 400 years, the traditional thatched roofs still exist, thanks to the independent preservation activities of the villagers. Under the leadership of skilled craftsmen, villagers collaborated with each other to participate in the roof re-covering work. It also allows every visitor to Ouchijuku  to appreciate the original Japanese scenery with a history of more than 400 years!

・Tadami Line

The JR Tadami Line is a railway line connecting Koide Station in Uonuma City, Niigata Prefecture and Aizuwakamatsu Station in Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture, with a total length of approximately 135 kilometers. This route is located in a secret place with stunning scenery. It passes through the hometown of Uonuma's specialty rice, "Koshihikari", and the scenery is quite spectacular. Especially in autumn, the colorful red leaves blend with the canyon, and the snowy scenery looks like an ink painting. It is a must-see. Therefore, photographers from all over the world come here to capture the stunning canyon and railway scenery. In winter, you can see the Tadami line running through the magical snow scenery, which is worth seeing.

・Aizuwakamatsu Castle

Aizuwakamatsu Castle, also known as "Tsuruga Castle", is the spiritual center of Aizu-Wakamatsu City and the administrative center of the Aizu Domain in the past. At the end of the Edo period, fierce wars took place here.Aizu-Wakamatsu Castle, which could not be conquered for a long time, was also called "a famous city that is difficult to attack." In 2011,Aizu-Wakamatsu Castle completed its roof tile renewal and restored its appearance to the late shogunate period. It is made of red bricks and is the only red-tile castle in Japan. You can see completely different scenery during the cherry blossom season and snow season every year. The park also faithfully presents many buildings from that time, which is unique.

※Does not include castle tower entrance fee.

・Higashiyama Onsen Village

Higashiyama Onsen is located on the outskirts of Aizuwakamatsu City. It has considerable healing effects and has a history of more than 1,000 years. With dinner arrangements and a Western-style buffet, you can enjoy your favorite food! Especially for dinner, you can enjoy steaming hot grilled steaks, freshly fried crispy tempura, etc. in the vibrant on-site kitchen, which is very popular!

・Miharu Takizakura

The Miharu Takizakura is a famous thousand-year-old cherry blossom. It is known as one of Japan's three major cherry blossoms, and is a national "natural monument". It is also the largest "red-branched weeping cherry" in Japan. The huge drooping branches are decorated with countless pink cherry blossoms, like a waterfall of cherry blossoms pouring down, so it is known as the "Waterfall Sakura".

・Natsui Senbonzakura

Along both sides of the Natsui River, there are more than 1,000 Yoshino cherry trees in bloom, and the more than 5 kilometers of cherry blossom trails are spectacular and allow people to deeply appreciate the beauty of Japanese cherry blossoms!
