Start off your day with a scenic drive across South East Asia's longest bridge to mainland Malaysia to visit Perak Museum. The first and oldest museum in the country, Perak Museum displays a wide range of exhibits including traditional crafts made by the indigenous people of Malaysia, the Orang Asli. After that, board a ferry to Orang Utan Island. Get up close with the endangered species at this rehabilitation center, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before driving back to Penang.

09:00-14:30 07:30 – 08:00: Hotel pick-up (within Penang Island only, excluding Butterworth area hotels) 09:00 – 10:00: Overland to Taiping and visit Perak Museum, one of the first and oldest museums in Malaysia 10:00 – 10:30: Transfer to Orang Utan Island 10:30 – 11:00: Catch the boat to Orang Utan Island 11:00 – 12:00: Visit Orang Utan Island 12:00 – 12:30: Catch the boat and return to the jetty 12:30 – 13:30: Lunch at a local restaurant (at participants' personal expenses) 13:30 – 14:30: Overland back to Penang and drop off to the hotel
