Make some space in your Chiang Mai itinerary for a full day outdoors exploring Sri Lanna National Park. The park is one of the top ten largest national parks in Thailand and is home to numerous waterfalls, caves, and springs. In this tour we’ll get to visit Bua Tong Waterfalls, Rainbow Fountain, Mae Ngat Dam, and more.
Bua Tong Waterfall: The first site we’ll visit once we step foot in the national park is the Buatong Waterfall. This unique cascade allows you to climb up the actual waterfall without much fear of slipping and sliding. You can also wade around in the cool waters by the base of the waterfall.
Jedsee Fountain: Up next, this cold spring is also known by another name, Rainbow Fountain, because of the fascinating colors that appear when sunlight reflects on the water.
Mae Ngat Reservoir: We’ll head to the western edge of the national park to the Mae Ngat Reservoir. Spend a couple of hours riding a longtail boat, kayaking, and filling up on lunch.
Wat Ban Den: A trip to Chiang Mai isn’t complete without a visit to at least one temple. Situated atop a small hill, the temple’s imposing structure and Lanna-style architecture make it a magnificent sight to behold. We’ll wander around the temple grounds taking in the halls, pagodas, and statues before heading back to your accommodation.
