Blue Bird Group is one of the leading transportation service companies in Indonesia. With a headquarter on Jl.Mampang Prapatan Raya No. 60, Jakarta, Blue Bird Group has spread its network to major cities across Indonesia. This success is attributed to the high-quality service, as well as the company’s experience of more than 40 years.

Blue Bird Group was born from the aspiration of late Mutiara Siti Fatimah Djokosoetono. In 1965, Blue Bird, then known by the name Chandra Taksi, started its first operation with two used sedan cars. Through its excellence of service, the company continued to grow. On 1 May 1972, Blue Bird officially operated with a fleet of 25 taxis, complete with taximeters.

Throughout its development, Blue Bird has applied various innovations, making the company a pioneer of taxi services in Indonesia. Furthermore, Blue Bird also launched new business units, from executive taxis (Silver Bird), car and limousine rentals (Golden Bird), chartered buses (Big Bird), and truck containers and logistic services (Iron Bird).

In providing its services to customers, the motto ANDAL is set as the basic standard for all Blue Bird Group employees on every level. ANDAL, which is an abbreviation for aman (safe), nyaman (comfortable), mudah (easy), and personalized, is applied to assure the quality of services. In addition, Blue Bird Group also applies a serving culture in order to provide its customers with maximum satisfaction.

All of the hard work has paid off as Blue Bird receives a variety of prestigious awards. Amongst those awards are Indonesia Most Innovative Business Award 2017, WOW Service Excellent Award 2016, Indonesia Most Admired Companies (IMACO) 2017, Superbrand Award 2014, and Indonesia Customer Satisfaction Award 2014. In May 2017, Blue Bird Group also reached a new milestone by introducing another set of innovative services, which are Golden Bird and Big Bird Airport Shuttle, as modes of airport transportation.
