Comfortable hotel with good complimentary coffee and tea option in the morning. Family room a little light but functional and clean. Location excellent and in a trendy area with walkable access to most tourist spots. Staff friendly and helpful. Beware tourist tax!

The location was absolutely incredible. In the heart of Jordaan and surrounded by loads of brilliant restaurants, cafes and bars. The staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful. All of them were amazing. The room was really comfortable and with great air con. This was my first trip to Amsterdam and this hotel was the perfect place to stay, especially as a solo traveller

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean but in need of a little attention. The room was small but adequate and clean. It is located in a good area with restaurants nearby and everything you want to see is walkable.

The staff at Melrose hotel were wonderful! Very attention to detail oriented, I was very happy with their help along the way. Outside of the loose toilet seat and some stained towels that were quickly replaced. It was a fine experience staying there. The room is small so be prepared if you’re sharing a twin with two beds. But it’s definitely doable very cozy so make sure you like your travel partner. Would definitely stay again if I visit Amsterdam again.

Staff were helpful and inviting. Great location. Room was clean but small. Shower head was damaged and leaked somewhat, but did work ok. No fresh milk for tea, but we did get some when we asked.
