My first review. The hotel itself is of an old-fashioned but well-maintained and pleasant design, incorporating grape vines and potted plants in the courtyard area. It looked especially picturesque during the afternoon. The rooms also followed the aforementioned style and were, again, well-maintained. Furniture appeared to be recently cleaned and looked pleasant. Included in the first room was two wooden sofas (suitable and comfortable for sleeping), an air conditioner (the air conditioners were hidden within the furniture so as not to disturb the appearance of the rooms), and 2 small tables. Included in the other room was a TV of medium size, a kettle, another hidden air conditioner, a medium-large fridge, a large bed, a wardrobe, 2 small tables, a chair, as well as packets of tea and sugar (including cups). This room was larger and had a windowed balcony. All bedding was immaculate, comfortable, and clean-smelling, which many other hotels fall behind on. The bathroom was absolutely spotless & sufficiently spacious. Its design was largely modern with some old-fashioned elements, like the wooden window frame. Provided was liquid hand soap and a generous number of clean-smelling towels, with the latter actually being a standout feature of the bathroom in my opinion. Water was responsive to temperature adjustments and its pressure was perfect at all times. Staff were admirably kind and professional. We were offered and served tea shortly after first checking in while they prepared the room, which was welcoming indeed. It was also at this point that a crib was taken out of our room and replaced with a mattress (including a pillow and blanket of course) for an older individual. You could tell that all staff cared about the establishment and its visitors. The hotel is situated in a rather quiet neighbourhood although lively streets, shops, and restaurants are within walking distance. Noise was never an issue. WiFi speeds were good. The only downside that I noticed at all at this hotel was that the bathroom door lock was not functional, but this was insignificant and did not cause any issues. Overall, this is the best hotel I have had the pleasure of visiting. It is not the most modern, nor is it the largest, but it was the most welcoming and pleasant, even considering the short stay. ما شاء الله

Price is reasonable, room is very clean and spacious, bed is wonderfully comfortable. It was snowing when I arrived but the central heating system did a very good job and I felt no cold inside. Quiet and atmospheric neighborhood on a hill, close to central bazaar. Mr. Nur doesn’t speak English but he’s so polite and helpful, you won’t have any problems at all.

Great job style apartments with all the necessary things inside - television, fridge, electronic kettle in the room and towels, shampoo and hairdryer in the bathroom. Owners of the hotel are kind and pleasant people. House is with cozy small yard inside. House is from stone, old house but nice, it was warm inside despite of many windows in the room. Room is with high ceiling, bed is comfortable and blanket is warm. Really good place to stay.

Beautiful little pension in a quiet area in central Gaziantep. The room was very clean and the view from the breakfast room was a nice surprise. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful! We would come again anytime and enjoyed our two night stay very much.

It is a historical house with a small courtyard in the historical part of Gaziantep called Bey Mahallesi. It is easy to reach all the sites you want to see by walk, if you like walking. If you want to use public buses, you can catch a bus from bus stops not far from the Arifbey. You can even catch a bus to Rumkale (# K70) for Halfeti at 07:00 am from Democracy Square. Just ask Mr. Nuri and Mr. Osman for help when needed. The room I stayed in was a very beautiful historical room. The bed and pillow were very clean and comfortable. I would just prefer to have a full-length mirror in the room if possible. The breakfast was very poor. It definitely needs to be improved urgently as it is only downside of this accommodation. I hope it is improved after the renovation of the breakfast room. Thanks to Mr. Osman, Mr. Nuri and Mrs. Server for all the help about directions and restaurant recommendations and making me feel at home. All in all if I go to Gaziantep again, I will definitely stay at this beautiful historical house.
