However, if you use a motorcycle, you can enter further through a small path around the rice field, close to the waterfall.

Curug Bangkong is 23 meters high, with high water debit. There is a pool beneath the waterfall that you can use for swimming. Behind the waterfall, there is a cave that is considered sacred by locals. According to a legend, there was a priest in that area who turned into a frog, which is “bangkong” in Sundanese language. Since then, locals started calling the waterfall Curug Bangkong.

27.  Linggarjati Natural Park.

Linggarjati Indah Park, which is located in Linggarjati Village, Cilimus District, offers various attractions in a beautiful location surrounded by nature. From Kuningan downtown area, you must drive for 10 kilometers to the south east, using Jenderal Sudirman and Cigugur Roads.

To visit this beautiful waterfall, you must drive for 27 kilometers from the downtown Kuningan. You can choose a western route by Veteran, Cigugur, and Cipasung-Cantilan Roads, or eastern route by Kadu Gede Sindangjawa and Ciniru-Jageur Roads, until you reach Cimenga Village. At the entrance to the waterfall, which is in Ciatiwali Village, you still need to walk for 500 meters, before you arrive in Curug Nyandung.

The name Sitonjul is a combination of two village names: Simenyan Tonjong and Munjul. The village is located in Sangkanhurip, Cilimus. Sitonjul is 13 kilometers away from Kuningan downtown area, or about 26 minutes of driving by Siliwangi Road. The majority of villagers in Sitonjul are farmers, so it is small wonder that rice fields and orchards are common views in this area.

In Sitonjul Village, you can witness the daily life of locals, who still hold fast to their local wisdom. They work together in working in the fields, such as planting the rice and harvesting the result together. There are also dance performances to welcome guests who visit the village.

Curug Walet is a waterfall located in Cirahayu, Citundun Village, Ciwaru. This waterfall is located in the south-east part of Kuningan. To visit Curug Walet Waterfall, you must drive for 37 kilometers or about 1 hour and 15 minutes by Ki Gedeng Luragung Road.

This waterfall is located in a fairly high cliff. However, the water curtain falls to a small and shallow pool, so it is a perfect place for you to splash around. The water debit in this waterfall is also relatively small, so anyone can visit this place and enjoy the clean and refreshing water.

40.  Cilengkrang Valley.

If you want to visit several destinations at once in the same spot, you can go to Cilengkrang Valley. This area is located 10 kilometers to the south east of Kuningan. To visit the valley, there are three options of routes to pick: by Ir. Soekarno Road, Jenderal Sudirman Road, or Ir. H. Juanda Road. After that, you can just follow the route to the north until you arrive in Cilengkrang Valley in Pajambon Village, Kramatmulya.

In this location, you will find three destinations worth of visits, such as waterfalls, natural hot bath, and forest park. Cilengkrang Valley has two waterfalls, called Curug Sabuk and Curug Sawer. Curug Sabuk is located on a rocky cliff with 30 meters of height, while Curug Sawer is 75 meters high.

Besides waterfalls, you can also enjoy a natural hot bath with 1-meter depth. The hot pool gets its water from a small stream not far from the location. While bathing and relaxing, you can enjoy the view of tall, shady trees around the location.

Another place to visit here is a forest park called Kopi Gede. You can unwind and relax with the whole family while enjoying local foods in warung (food stall). To visit Cilengkrang Valley, you need to pay an admission fee of 10,000 IDR.
