Description of high-speed rail tickets:

Adult: Passengers over the age of 12 should purchase a bus ticket.

Elderly tickets: Nationals who are over 65 years old (subject to the date of boarding) and hold a national ID card or a government-issued ID card with a photo, ID number, and date, month, and date of birth to prove their identity.

Disabled ticket: Nationals with a physical and mental disability certificate (pink). (On the back of the physical and mental disability certificate, the "Necessary Accompanying Discount Measures" column must be marked with the words "domestic public transportation" to provide the necessary companion one-person disabled ticket discount)

Child ticket: Children under the age of 12 can purchase a child ticket, but children under the age of 12 with a height of more than 150 cm should show their identity certificates.

A: You can choose any high-speed rail trip. However, Traveloka cannot reserve passenger trains and seats in advance. The actual booked trains are based on actual bookings. If the provided trains are full, you can choose another train or choose a full refund

Q: How can I get the high-speed rail ticket?

A: The ticket is a physical ticket, which will be mailed to the designated Taiwan address, Taoyuan Airport counter T1 & Taoyuan Airport counter T2 after the ticket is issued 7 days before the departure date

Q: When can I receive the ticket?

A: High-speed rail reservations are only available for dates within 29 days of the boarding date. If your boarding date is not within 29 days, the reservation and delivery will be made after the opening day

Q: Can I change the pick-up/drop-off location?

A: The high-speed rail holiday is a special ticket, and there are regulations on the origin and destination of the ticket. For example, if you choose to depart from Taipei Station and stay at a Kaohsiung Hotel, the outbound ticket is from Taipei to Zuoying, and the return ticket is from Zuoying to Taipei. There will be no refund for getting off the train halfway, and you need to make up the difference according to the official announcement of the high-speed rail fare
