About Seloaji Terminal

Terminal Seloaji now operates at a new location to the west of the old terminal. Covering an area of 46,960 square meters with a building size of 5,944 square meters, the terminal was constructed between 2013 and 2016. It was officially inaugurated by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation on February 3, 2017, and began operating for passengers on February 23, 2018. Known for its eco-green building concept, the terminal is designed with environmentally friendly technology to reduce electricity consumption.

As a Type A terminal, Terminal Seloaji serves as a major transportation hub offering various services, including city transportation, rural transportation, pioneer transport, and intercity services both within the province (AKDP) and across provinces (AKAP). It plays a vital role in connecting Ponorogo with surrounding destinations, both within and outside the province.

For intercity economic class transportation, Terminal Seloaji provides medium and big buses. Non-AC medium buses serve short-distance routes to nearby cities such as Madiun, Trenggalek, and Pacitan. In contrast, big buses cover medium-distance routes to major cities in East Java, including Surabaya, Malang, and Ambulu, as well as cities in Central Java such as Solo. Ticket payments for economic class buses are handled directly on the vehicle by conductors, without needing to go through agents or ticket counters.

On the other hand, intercity non-economy class transport, which includes services like patas, business, VIP, executive, super executive, and suite class, is exclusively serviced by big buses. Payment for non-economy class bus tickets must be done at official ticket counters or agents within the terminal, except for routes to Surabaya. Non-economy buses operate long-distance routes to destinations such as Bali, Yogyakarta, West Java, Jakarta, Banten, and across Sumatra.

Facilities Available at Seloaji Terminal

1. Signage

Various signs and visual indicators are available to facilitate navigation throughout the terminal. These are designed to provide clear information to visitors, helping them find key locations such as entrances, platforms, and other public amenities.

2. Information Boards

Equipped with information boards that provide the latest updates on departure and arrival schedules, as well as other important information.

3. Disability Access Routes

Ensuring accessibility for visitors with special needs, the terminal features dedicated disability access routes that make mobility easier for wheelchair users and those requiring additional assistance.

4. Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are available for visitors who need them, ensuring comfort and ease of movement within the terminal. These can be accessed at several strategic points within the terminal.

5. CCTV

CCTV systems are installed throughout the terminal to enhance security and monitoring. This aims to ensure visitor safety and oversee terminal activities in real-time.

6. IT-Based Information System

The terminal uses an IT-based information system to manage and display data related to schedules, tickets, and other relevant information.

7. Sterilization Barriers

Equipped with sterilization barriers to control access and maintain a safe and clean environment within the terminal.

8. Health Room

Provides a health room for basic medical services and emergency care. This room is equipped with medical supplies necessary to handle minor health situations that may arise in the terminal.
