1. The planned visit date specified during booking should be the date you intend to pick up the Exchange Order at the airport. You will receive a Traveloka booking confirmation email with a voucher after booking on the website or app. Please note that this is NOT your JR Pass.
2. You will receive a physical MCO, also known as Exchange Order at the airport on the date that you have selected. Make sure you have picked up your Exchange Order before you board the plane to Japan.
3. Upon arrival in Japan, get a temporary visitor stamp at the Japanese immigration office then go to the designated JR Exchange Office at most major airports or rail stations. Show your MCO and passport, fill out the required application form, then obtain your physical JR Pass.
