There was only one restaurant open the days we came up so we had to go elsewhere as it was our anniversary all good Tho Cheers

I cannot speak highly enough about this hotel. The staff, accommodation and every other facility were excellent. A wide variety of restaurants are available within the hotel. I strongly recommend anyone to stay here.

I was a supposedly superior King room, the bed was a king and comfy. The bathroom needed up dating. I booked it because the photos showed a walk in shower but it was a shower over the bath. We ordered breakfast in our room which arrived on time was hot and really good.

The Country Club has always been a dependable, well staffed venue. The staff are well trained and helpful. A great place to stay. Plenty of dining options.

One of the reasons I chose to stay at the country club was for the walks around the lake and seeing and feeding the many ducks and different birds on and around it. Another reason is the indoor pool. However, the whole lake was fenced off and only a few ducks etc had stayed on. The following notice was on the website. BUT it states the start date as being the 1st of Jan AND it only mentions the closure of the golf course, NOT the lake. <> The last time I stayed here, the pool was closed for maintenance... which wasn't made known to me before I had booked. So, although I've stayed here numerous times, I'm sorry to say that I doubt very much that I will do so again in the future.

Nice accommodations. Very good price via Expedia. Only stayed one night but was comfortable and I did not need more. Reception staff were very nice.

Country Club has a lot of facilities including a casino. The room was big and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The layout of the bathroom was pretty strange, but it was not a show stopper. There are currently a lot of building works going on so when I got a room with a view to the back of the property and a car park I was not as disappointed as facing the front would have seen building works any way. Reception staff weren't as friendly as I would have liked especially to make a lone traveller feel comfortable. I parked my car in front to check in/drop bags originally as it was not clear where reception was. I was told in no uncertain terms I could not leave the car there. I was not intending to, but usually I would drive up for checkin. The porter took my luggage to my room which was excellent especially as the walk from the carpark to the hotel room as 500m which is a challenge with bags or any walking impediments. Upon checkout I called for the porter and none were available. There were some trolleys available. This makes it more difficult for a lone traveller, those with lots of bags and those who have issues walking. Room service take away breakfast was good, and I had a meal in the bistro which was reasonable. The security staff were friendly. The atmosphere was nice. There were a lot of choices for dinner.
