Clean and the room was very large and beautiful

The room was quite small for the price, tea and coffee facilities a little odd like in a room down the hall, OK , but very retro. Very small cooler in the room, no refrigerator so to speak. I booked on line so didnt realise the room I was given had no outlook, and rooms that may have had a view were empty.

Really enjoyed staying here while we attended a wedding at Buckland Estate. Called up before to organise a cot for my daughter and they upgraded me for free because the room i chose was too small for the cot. Excellent hotel, clean and beautifully renovated and presented.

Beautiful hotel in centre of town. A lovely place to stay.

At first we weren’t sure we were in the right place as maps takes you to the “shop front” of the property but staff were super helpful in explaining where parking was and how to access everything. The two restaurant options on site are handy and the rooms look newly renovated. Highly recommend this stay.

We stayed at the Farmers Home Hotel as part of a group of 10 for an early morning Liberty Balloon Ride. After arriving early and exploring the town, we received a text from Anthony that our room was ready. We initially parked in front of the hotel but were advised to move to the back, which was confusing due to unclear parking spaces allocated to the hotel. Our room, 108, was well-decorated and furnished to a high standard, as expected for the price. The bed was large and comfortable, and the ensuite was well-stocked and finished nicely. However, the extractor fan didn’t work, and we couldn’t cool the room either. The hotel’s wifi was good. The main issue was the lack of in-room coffee or tea facilities. At 3:30am when we got up for the balloon ride, we had to walk past other rooms on bare boards to get tea, and there was no coffee available at all. This could have easily disturbed other guests. There was no one to ask for help at that hour. Overall, I recommend the hotel but suggest to them adding a kettle and cups in the room. The small fridge in the room only had a bottle of water in it, so adding some milk would be easy too.

The hotel has a gorgeous interior and it made the stay special. Staff were warm and efficient!

For a 160-year-old building, the internal fit out was excellent and made you feel very comfortable and welcome

Great restored hotel , best hotel in town but for a price , for the price would have been worth if they had a jet bath , bathroom spacious so no brainer in my opinion ,

We really enjoyed our stay here in the Homestead room. The king bed and 2 singles were perfect for our family and we enjoyed the history and refurbished hotel. There was a bit of noise from the best below at once point but nothing that interfered. Was great to have Dome as a dinner option connected to the hotel.

I was only there one night and arrived later in the evening and left earlish in the morning so only have this to go off. It was a very nice place to stay.

Very new and clean. Extremely comfy bed and dining options very near and adjoining Dome cafe. Will be back

Nice mix of old world charm and new, modern amenities. The creaky floorboards of our room I found to be part of the hotel’s charm.

The room was comfortable and clean. Even though this is part of the Dome franchise it was very disappointing that there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. For the cost of the room for the night, this should have been supplied.

We booked into the Farmers Home Hotel with ease. Our room was well appointed with lots of little “extras”. We enjoyed a couple of beautifully presented drinks at the Temperance Bar and decided to stay for something to eat. The share plates we ordered were delicious. We had an early start the next morning and found checking out a breeze. Thanks for your hospitality Farmers Home Hotel, your staff are delightful.
