Loved the location and accessibility. Rooms were very spacious but minimal conveniences. No microwave, had to go upstairsto refill kettle,no extra blankets, bathroom products or wall decorations. Very bland decor and walls with chips on corners and paint wearing off. Some staff very welcoming others not.

It is a beautiful hotel with everything you could wish for,but had to ask several times at reception for the room to be tidied in the 7 days that we stayed . Will definitely return.

Room servicing was below average. Out of a 9 night stay it was cleaned perhaps twice. The cleaners would come to service the room at 5-6 pm despite the please clean signage being there all day. Concierge was lovely.

Dreadful stay.Asked to check in online we did. Still took over half hr as computers were offline staff didn’t know what to do. We had xmas dinner which was the worst meal we have ever had. Room was old shower was over a bath we are both in our late seventies could not get in or out to shower. Rang housekeeping to get slip mat for bath No answer after three attempts.So no shower for two days. left early to go home for a shower. Would not stay again. Staff not well trained and really didn’t care

We had a lovely overnight stay for Christmas and boxing day. Dinner at windows restaurant after pre dinner drinks at the bar. Woke to take a beautiful walk around albert park lake which is just acroos the road. Tasty breakfast with all you need then worked itnoff in the well equipped gym before checking out.

Housekeeping was sloppy. All coffee in the room was decaf even when I asked for regular. The room wasn’t cleaned unless I asked and then it was poorly done. The restaurant service was sloppy and the food cold. Bartender in the day didn’t know what drinks were nor was she able to differentiate between scotch or bourbon or Irish whiskey.

Booked premier room expecting it to be upmarket but decor / finish was dated needing refresh. Shower had good pressure. Only 2 pillows on. Bed with two staying and only one spare in closet with no pillowslip. Stayed several nights and room was never cleaned - had to ask for clean towels.

The suite was lovely, spacious and well equipped. I chose this hotel for their fitness centre, and it is probably the best hotel gym I've ever seen. Room service was great, though the menu is very slim on options considering the price point being quite high. Overall, a great stay.
