Delightful stay and so lovely to literally footsteps to the national park. We caught the bus from the ranger station which was just a few steps from the front door.
The only thing that would improve this location would be an EV charging station at the lodge.

The rooms need love. It’s outdated and many things need attention and repair. You have so much potential and you charge heaps of money, however you elect not to do much about the cabins, beds, mattresses..etc.
The food at the Bistro was the most boring thing. Again, you have so much potential but you only elect to serve what an average pub in any Australian state serves. As for the “Highlands”, it’s overpriced and the quality is not top notch.
My wife and I also went to the spa. Shower door without handle and the whole thing is old and needs some love.
You need to add heaps more activities to keep people engaged and interested and keep the place alive. Yes people are there for bush walks but what about if it’s heavily raining for 2-3 days ? What do the families with kids do?

Location is excellent as it’s near the national park & there are trails surrounding the property. It is however very dated and a renovation to all cabins is way over due. The bistro tavern onsite closes by 8.30 pm, would be nice to have it extended till 9.30 pm at least during summer.

The staff at the restaurant for dinner were great. I even ordered a log cake in advance, and the chef specially made one for me and it was one of the best log cakes I had in a very long time.

It is a gorgeous hotel and the food is amazing! I wish you could have stayed longer than 1 night. The wildlife around the cabins is abundant and so cool to watch! Do a night walk!
My only suggestion is to work on customer service, the gentleman checking us in was a bit rude and wouldn’t let me speak. Otherwise a great place to stay!

We stayed 3 nights. Buffet Breakfast was included and catered for all tastes and food types.
The hotel had numerous of the Cradle Mountain walks starting near their reception as well as the shuttle bus to Ronnie Creek and Dove Lake being just over the road.
They had the Highlander restaurant or the bar and bistro to eat at. The food was really great.
The service was outstanding.

We ate in the Tavern Bar which we felt better value than restaurant. Breakfast choice was good but cooked food should be better quality.
Very helpful staff who gave advice on what we should do in the time we had. Walk around Dove Lake - brilliant.

Me and my wife loved our stay here. From the warm welcome checking in, our room was great, having a beer and meal at the tavern, the buffet breakfast was good, getting close to the local wombats, pademelon, wallabies and if you’re lucky enough an echidna, and with cradle mountain at you door step how could you not stay here.
