It’s overpriced— it’s Old — example — I got up early at 5AM and there was No warm let alone HOT water

Close to supermarket easy walk to Food outlets. Breakfast simple but good. Staff friendly. Shuttle service convenient. The rooms were clean and good value for money. The mall area was pretty much closed and there were a number homeless people about who were under the influence. They didn’t bother us but I didn’t feel safe going out of the hotel on my own as a female. The hotel itself felt safe.

The hotel said free parking lot but it was street parking. Hotel phone wasnt working. Door was noisy, cant adjust room temp, furniture was old and broken. However, staff was kind and nice. Good thing was easy to access downtown.

Centrally located, so walkable everywhere
Reception staff were friendly and accomidating. House keeping offered free a wake up service at 7 am weildng their noisy carts up and down the hallway.

Downtown Yellowknife has, as most cities now do, a fair number of unhoused people who tend to gather in this area. Unfortunately, that means garbage gets strewn about and so on. The hotel has security guards on duty, and I never felt unsafe. Just remember when booking, the hotel is in the downtown area. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly.
The location is good in that it is within walking distance to Frame Lake, the Legislature building, the museum and dining.

The room is dark as two lights were not working and one was very deem. Unable to control the thermostat in the room so it is cold. Carpet is dirty as it is old and brown in color. Yeah, this hotel in dire of renovation. Room got funny smell too.
