Overall happy with our stay, bed was very comfortable, hotel is showing its age a bit, bathroom needs a reno, looks like the carpets and furniture have been updated, tv could be bigger but it always can be bigger lol, i'll be back next time i stay in Cranbrook for sure, price is on point

Totally below average budget hotel. Chairs were stained, room wasn’t clean. Diesel pickups idling directly outside the room fill it full of exhaust fumes. Cleanliness is not a word to describe these rooms.

I had to bring my cat and dog on this trip and I found the individual Cat & Dog treat bags a very nice touch. Especially as the next day we stayed at a 5-star hotel and there was nothing like that. The room was quiet, clean and well organized. The Sandman Hotel Cranbrook will be where I stay when I am next in that area : )

There isnt much unique about a dated property. On the plus side, the room was comfortable and clean. Staff were pleasant. On the less plus, just meh. Limited room amenities, older facility that is clearly getting to the point of needing some love. A decent coffee maker in the room versus the crummy 1970's drip-o-lator would make me feel better about shelling out a premium rate for the room.
